I know there are a lot of soccer fanatics on this forum, and with Manchester United being the most supported club on BHW by miles, which doesn't come as a surprise to me. Leicester City need to prove their title was no fluke and Manchester United will be hoping to get back into winning ways and make Old Trafford a fortress again. This season it's going to be a close call but I am optimistic about United winning EPL this time around.

What are your thoughts and what matches are you looking after? I know the sunday fixture between Liverpool vs Arsenal should be an interesting one.

Hm, I'm fairly sure that you changed your name not that long ago, not sure you qualify for a name change of your choice for another few months.

On the other hand, there might be a justification for a name change if we opened it up to suggestions and then put a poll up so people could vote on it. You know, democratically. But that probably would be unfair.

Obviously, we can't hijack this thread just for the purposes of humiliating our pet troll. I *do* hope no-one opens a new thread for suggestions with a poll.

If I remember correctly a mod at the time, now an admin picked my current username and said I won't have to wait a year to change it because she's childish as fuck.

I'm a big fan of Manchester city although most people are fans of Liverpool and Man united. But i think Man United will rule this year with the arrival of Pogba.

Waiting for the best league in the world to start in 2 weeks.

Also, I'm not completely sure why everyone is crazy about Mourinho (cancer of football) coaching Man Utd? I really liked the Sir Alex's era Man Utd... but to be degraded to the level of being coached by a total anti-football person who is an arrogant prick and delusional for a living..... well, anything happens nowadays.

Leicester will miss Kante a lot, he was the engine of their midfield... I expect them to finish last in the CL group stages and somewhere around mid-table in EPL this season.

One thing is sure,he will be way different from LVG.He only can make players sad lol..And please don't talk about Sir Alex era cuz I don't think a guy like him will come to United for next 200 years.But it's another United this year.Time for 21.

You are very wrong when stating that it is the third best league in the world. Sure according to EUFA, Germany & Spain does generate more points when it comes to europa league & champions league. However you are forgetting the high competition in the premier league as well as the amount of extra games they have to play, resulting in less rest for those games!

In germany there is 1 team that can win,
In spain there are 2 teams that can win,
In the premier league there are about 6-7 teams that can possibly win.

See how England might have issues when it comes to Europa League & Champions League?

Ok bro I got you.

Results betting is way too risky, for a real accumulator you want to stick to markets like goals per game.

Normally when the season is in full flow you want to stick to "over" goals betting, but fitness will be low, most players will not have match fitness and games will be pretty uneventful until match day 3 or 4.

This would is my personal premier league opening day betting:

£2 on 4 games under 1.5 goals at 1/34

No I don't see how England has issues in European competitions.... that's a lame excuse. Why Liverpool couldn't win the EL final last season? Why England NT sucks in every WC and EC? EPL is the best league in the world... in MARKETING... not in football. Englishmen are a small percentage of EPL followers compared to Asia and other parts of the world. It's a nice packaged brand... but qualitative? Nope. Your NT proves that very well, along with the disastrous performances in European competitions.

EPL is the most competitive league? (sure, if you're talking about this EPL: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015–16_Egyptian_Premier_League).

Why doesn't FA remove the pathetic League cup? Who needs it anyway? Mickey-mouse cup.... only the piss poor league of France has it alongside EPL.


I don't know since when you started watching football (probably recently), but in the last 12 years there were 5 different champions in German Bundesliga. In Spain there were 5 also.... 2 seasons ago Atletico won it... and they reached the CL (most important club competition) twice in 3 years. Sevilla won the second most important competition 3 times in a row.... how the hell am I wrong? Ok I'm wrong... is UEFA wrong? NOPE!
