Most watched league in the world = Best league in the world
Alright, we obviously all agree that EPL is a well marketed brand. But why do EPL teams constantly fail in European competitions, where it really matters in football? Give me a good logical reason without a lame excuse for the failure in European cups and I'll take my hat off to you and anyone who argues similarly. EPL is ranked as third in UEFA's official list for a reason. My logical take is that the EPL is full of teams on similar (poor) level that can compete fiercely with each other, but when they compete with other teams outside EPL, they suck because they are below average of other European teams (7th place and up, for EL and CL).
Also, give me a reasonable explanation as to why the England national team sucks and crashes early in major competitions like World Cup and European Championship? My logical take is that EPL is full of foreign players and coaches, with no patience and development of young English talents, and thus leading to a terrible national team future. Moreover, the foreign players are mostly overrated players who offer nothing tactically, yet they are physically in par with other English players and usually thrive because of better experience than English youngsters. There is a reason why Spanish players become stars very quickly in EPL teams... yet they cannot make it in the first eleven of La Liga teams.
What's your argument, I'm very curious to know?
