Hey, this is just a warning that Chaturbate is a big fat scam. I have been using their affiliate system a few months ago and was getting people to sign up by individually talking to each and every one of them (bot was doing that) which gave a huge signup rate (50+ tier1/day) and apparently that is not acceptable by them. So what did they do? Well, they simply banned my account with close to 400USD (if I remember correctly) due to "generating fake account signups and attempting to collect the associated referral commissions" even though none of the signups was fake and I didn't even try to collect the commission.

400USD isn't a big deal but what annoys me is how unfair they are and the fact that it took week to get reply from them regarding this: https://i.gyazo.com/95594a0b146e19017c1aa5a52fa889eb.png

Use their affiliate program at your own risk but be prepared that they can simply ban you for no reason, waste your time and tell you to "speak to your attorney". I will be moving over to Crakrevenue over the following days and hope that they offer better service.

I think you just got unlucky. I've always sent them ewhore-bot traffic and they've paid me thousands.

So you are sending them chats traffic which does not convert to sales, then start bitching around?
You will get the same result with Crakrevenue, it is your traffic quality, not the network issue.
I suggest you to move to PPS model.

Could be, I was sending ewhore traffic aswell.

Does it say somewhere that traffic needs to convert into sales? All it says is that they pay 1-0.1USD/real signup which is what I delivered. It doesn't state that signups are required to spend money in order for you to earn the commission?

If your free regs don't spend money, CB doesn't make money and you won't make any either, because they will either ban you or you'll be only allowed to use the revshare program. No network includes this in their TOS (i think), it's common sense.

It won't help if you switch networks. If you send garbage traffic to PPL, you won't get paid, it's simple as that.

Try revshare or PPS, if you feel, that your traffic is not complete garbage.

Also i remember reading multiple threads here where OP claims that they accept chat traffic, maybe try those.

From Crakrevenue blogpost that I JUST read. Please read this with thought.
"
For the affiliates: they get paid for each lead, which allows them to cash their earnings quickly. No need to wait for conversions or rebills. It’s paid upfront in full trust that leads will convert according to a predetermined ratio. WIN.

For the sponsor: if a cost per acquisition target has been properly set, the leads convert at the expected ratio and, unlike revshare, future rebill revenues are kept as a bonus for the risk assumed by fronting the money in the first place. WIN.

Everybody wins.

But unfortunately, It’s not that easy. As we said earlier, successfully promoting PPL programs requires an understanding of the delicate balance on which “the Deal” relies.

One of the common misconceptions about PPL offers is that it is the easiest and most lucrative way of making money with online advertising these days, since you can send in about any type of traffic and get paid for your leads.

WRONG.

Sponsors agree to pay for the leads but are expecting conversions in return.

Obvious?

Yes. But you would be surprised to know how many affiliates seem to forget it.

In fact, it is such a big stake in this game, it can’t afford to be forgotten. This is also the main reason why an affiliate might get kicked out of a PPL program"

Of course they expect the traffic to convert

thats unlucky..
Better switch to other network (send good quality traffic)
may be most of them were kids LOL

p.s: I was thinking to join their affilliate program now is that a bad idea?

No its not a bad idea to join chaturbate. They pay $1 per unverified email signup for christ sakes.

try 20% rev share.. and you will see the difference..
i have made $100++ with just 3 high quality sign up.. lol

if you send them bot traffic and they ban you for fraud, that's pretty normal imho

Yeah just choose Revshare next time, this way you won't get banned, even with low quality traffic like you sent, but of coarse you already knew that this traffic wouldn't convert anyway...

There is not a single PPL affiliate program that is going to let you send traffic that doesn't convert to sales. It's not a scam, it's commonsense.

I also send trash traffic, as you guess from my user name and avatar picture, to PPL and CPA cam offers, including bots, and I was never banned in 6 or more years by no any network. I used chaturbate, crakrevenue, tubecamgirl, bongacams, and some others that are now closed (but most these paid before to close anyway).
Of course my sign ups was real people. If you create fake signups yourself, you waste time only.
But real people signups is not enough. As the other guys said in the thread, if your signups never convert into sales, the network will stop paying or switch you to rev share.
Come on, if you owned the network, you would do the same, you are not santa claus?

Then how to be paid for trash traffic for long time? If you know your method is chat traffic, bots or something that do not convert in rev share or PPS, then my suggestion is to contact the affiliate network before to start, instead to earn $100's and wait the network write you first, saying your traffic is bad or even banning you.
The OP earned $400 before that Chaturbate could check his signups quality. When found it was low quality and no sales, maybe decided, better to not pay $400.
What if the OP contacted Chaturbate before to start, presenting himself, asking if that's ok to use his method and bots. If Chaturbate replied positively, then, it would be more difficult for Chaturbate to ban him after. The OP could have made just $50 payable worth of signups, pause, and again contact Chaturbate, asking what they think of these few signups. Only when Chaturbate replies, you restart doing more signups.

The same advice is for when you start with every new CPA network, better to contact first, make them friends, tell them if it is ok what you want to do, send first $50 maximum test of signups, ask what they think. Never start in silence, and earn $400 on surprise, this is a risk if you're not making sales.

Some networks write such common sense in their affiliate instructions page. For example look what is written at the top of tubecamgirl affiliate page:

---
NOTE ON CHAT TRAFFIC (OMEGLE / CHATROULETTE / KIK / FB / ...): if your method is skype/yahoo etc. chat traffic direct sales via human agents and/or bots in chatrooms, needs pre-approval (contact us before to start!). Do not use microworkers, rapidworkers, mturk or similar, it brings only fake signups with proxy/vpn that will not be payable. Even if accepted, for chat traffic we pay CPA $1 or max $2 per signup (depends on results), not $3 as clicked banners or other methods. If incentivized (promise off-site prize, such as free messenger show if he register etc.), we do not accept at all. And if chat traffic, ask the age to guys first! Send only who is 25+ years old or older, we don't want younger, they just offense and troll girls and never pay.
---

This is reasonable, so $3 CPA for who convert in sales, otherwise you discuss in advance for lower pay if you send trash. If not all CPA traffic is same good, is common sense is not all paid same. Better than not paid at all, you guys email the network before to start, and make small test and ask to check the signups, before to work weeks and collect $500 payable, then get nothing!

I made 425$ with a Discord bot, they banned me just as I was going to get my cash.
There are some unwritten rules here. One of them is that if your referrals don't spend shit, they'll dump you right away, they are in control after all.
It's not fair, I know. I got them what they asked for but not what they wanted. That's PPL for you. Sometimes you're just left with the L. A massive fucking L for wasting your time ;(

How do you get quality sign up? do you talk to people? like find these guys where they are?

I have been an affiliate with Chaturbate since 2010 when they first started and I got a few sign ups but I was in a third world country where domains are expensive and the internet connection is not as good. I was concentrating on signing up models too but eventually I got banned and your complaints will fall on deaf ears really. They have the worst customer service. I would accept my mistake but they should have the decency to instruct us moving forward what did I do wrong. I was taking a screenshot of a model Prostateparty and there was a DMCA takedown fr his rep and that is after I noticed that I can't access my Affiliate stats it says banned but they paid me still a few hundred dollars after till they deleted my account 5 yrs after. I made a blogspot with the screenshot of the models and linking them to my affiliate ID. I could not afford to buy a domain and I never heard of these porn uploading methods before.

Fast forward to 2018, I moved to Canada, have saved a little then I read a blog online and I decided to give it a try. I have my own porn website with WP script. Still in process of doing the marketing although at times I can't provide 100% since I have another job and this is just a part time for me.

I just need guidance from the rest of the successful affiliates here. What I am following is the porn uploading and pic uploading methods. I see some white labels that are promoting recorded shows with their white label watermarked on it. Is that allowed because I am following it.

I also promote individual chatrooms of models via my Twitter.

I feel like if you avail of PPL for $1 and then there is no conversions, it is obviously a recipe of getting banned because it tells you that it is committed through fraudulent activity. Somehow, there must be a conversions. How can Chaturbate thrive if you just give them PPL.
PPL is not worth it. Bonggacams has a good deal up to $4 but I would rather have Rev Share for life.

Another thing, Chaturbate is so saturated now. I know that I have not been 100% into the marketing of my websites and white label but I cannot let go of my main job because what if I get banned or this will not work out? This is only a part time gig that I want to invest little but consistent time because somehow I might be successful. Can we still get sign ups? like new clients that will spend?

I learned that we also need to diversify our affiliate income combining porn related and conventional sources. I am into phone sex sites too, Hemp and Online English teaching. At least if your cam site will not work or you will get banned, you have other income.

Porn sells though that is the best thing. And cam sites are the best way to promote since porn movies can be pirated but not cam shows. Porn lovers still want a live interaction from models.

Chat traffic still works but why do you expect companies to pay yer per lead when the traffic is junk.

Bots now only target men over 30 and uses NLP to automate most things. Its about social engineering and leading men to ask the right questions to appear real.
