Does Having droidcrunch sounds like techcrunch

I am wandering if I acquire droidcrunch, will there be a potential to make huge money like techcrunch is making. It is branded I guess and I saw this guy selling for $1000. Is is a nice amount to pay for this domain?

Just because you are buying a branded domain doesnt mean that you will make money, you need to put effort and work before seeing any $

On the basis that is has a name similar to techcrunch and that it is hosting a basic website with a few articles? Great way to waste your money.

I think it can be branded in future. I said, if that guy would have quoted that then it was not bad as his expectations.
I don't think a website with a few articles can be sold at $1000. Agree with you
