Hostgator traffic/visitors are Real?

Hostgator is giving certain traffic/visitors with every plan. Is this traffic is real and converting? Has anyone traffic experience with hostgator hosting plans?

This is not traffic targeted at your website. The number is how many visits per month the plan can sustain/is suitable for.

That would be... Strange if they did that.

Initially, I thought that maybe there was some kind of traffic limitation for each plan, although HostGator's support policy states that they don't impose traffic limits. However, I'm still inclined to believe that's the case for their Wordpress Cloud hosting packages.

Even if they did give away "free traffic" with their hosting plans, it would've been unrealistic to expect those visitors to be quality visitors.

very funny,

here they not giving traffic, that convert etc... they tell you, if u have zzzzzzzz traffic then buy this package, or for zzzzz traffic buy that package.

they not selling traffic. :) lol

when traffic increases they cancel ur hsoting saying cpu usage etc

How anybody can guess about traffic while buying hosting for website?

You have miss-understand the offer :)
What hostgator plans are telling you is that the X plan is suitable for X monthly visitors.
For example of the first plan of 25.000 visits. If your website average size is 2.5MB x25.000 you are getting 62500MB of bandwidth for the FIRST page view.
Lets say that one visitor view 3-4 pages during one visit that means 3x2.5mb = 7.5MB per visitor x 25.000= 187500 MB of bandwidth.

Its pretty similar to our shared hosting plan where we are giving you 500.000 MB of bandwidth / 2.5MB = suitable for 200.000 monthly visits .

Seems that Hostgator is hunting newbies who don't understand what bandwidth means :)

"How anybody can guess about traffic while buying hosting for website?"

- You can't , but normally new website hardly exceed more that 50GB monthly . Only after some time of been online you will can calculate and estimate the traffic you MAY receive and then calculate the bandwidth you will need.

So should I go to hostgator or not?
I am newbie in hosting and want to setup niche website for making money by adsense

It's weird that they started doing that. It might be fake, but who knows for sure?

The number they have posted for visits per month doesn't mean they are going to send you that many people to your site.

That is what they are recommend that this site hosting plan could handle in traffic. Meaning you have to go out and market your site and get that traffic coming to your site. They are not sending it to you.

Knowing them they are going to go off of server hits and not real traffic for the counts meaning they will mostly count bots traffic as well.
