Newbie to the keyword research

Hello,
so I'm quite newbie when it comes to keyword research and I was wondering if this keyword is too hard for a new site to rank page #1 on google?

If it is, then what kind of keyword should I look out for? This one gets 9900 monthly searchers.
What kind of figures should I go for "Keyword Competitiveness" and so on?
Altough SEO won't be the only way to drive traffic for the site it would nice to know how hard this will be.

Well I have the Long Tail Platinum trial now and I tested the free 10 SEMRush keyword difficulty searches but it seems no matter what I input I get over 80% difficulty.

Hello buddy, welcome and do not feel that you ca not do this. I have always used google keyword planner for like two years now and it has been one of the greatest tool I have ever come across in regards to the optimization of my site. You can always test to see whether there are other alternatives, there is always nothing bad in trying out things. I am so sure that you will get the best tool with the needs you are looking for.

yeah google keyword planner is nice when you want to see the search volume but it doesn't give that much information about the keyword competition in organic search. I mean for the competitors backlinks and so on.
