Hello everyone.

I'm running a MP3 website, probably (in my opinion :D ) one of the best out there right now, for functionality, music quality, speed and design.

The website is growing quickly and at the moment I have 100'000 monthly users.

I'm using PopAds and PopCash and they are working pretty well, the problem are the banners. I'm using RevenueHits and the earning are way too low.

Right now I have 60'000 + 60'000 impression on 2 banners with a CTR of 1.3% (quite low), and I've earned ONLY 4.5$ (eCPM 0.05$)
The banners are in the best place possible and I'm searching for a new Ads network or some tips for banners, I really would like to find a good CPM network and not CPA

The traffic is mostly USA, UK, Spain, Brazil, Mexico, Italy.

Someone can help me?

Although earnings are not on a CPM basis but CPC, you should try http://www.Plugz.co.

The trick is not to use it in traditional banner spots. Since the code is for native ads and the CSS is 100% customisable, you can put it anywhere in your content and earn extra money ;)

Here's an example:

Feel free to contact me to help you integrate it onto your site.

Thanks for the tip, will look in to it :)
Any idea on the average CPC?

I know one network (or more) that fit well on MP3 Music sites and similar >> contact me, I don't want spam here with names of networks.

Try BidVertiser. I used it some years ago and I earned great with my 5k visits a day ;)

Why are you against CPA? If you manage it properly and spend enough time optimizing it, you are likely to reach higher CPMs than with regular ad networks. You just need to experiment with a bunch of offers and keep only the ones that are making you good money and always try new offers from time to time especially if the ones you are using start to fall in earnings.

Never had luck with CPA, but I can definitely put more effort on it. CPM seems just more stable and simpler. Even with 0.3$ CPM I could earn 7 times what I earned with RevenueHits.

CPA requires some skills and knowledge, buy it can be very effective. Sometimes it doesn't work for every niche and geo but if you work it properly, you could be above 0.3 CPM for tier 1 countries.

Ok, thanks! Do you have some tips to give me? Like which network try first? (that allows a mp3 website)

Search for offers on OfferVault and apply to a few of the networks that have suitable offers. Search this forum for the network to see what people have said about it and if there are no mentions start a topic asking about it. You should site offers for specific countries only to people from those countries, you can use your regular CPM banners for the rest. Do a lot of split tests and dig deep into your data. Don't be afraid to try different verticals.

Making money with banners is not easy.
Come try EZmob, we have all sorts of ad-units that are easily integrated and perform much better than regular banners, with higher revenue.

Web-pick which used to be one of the leaders in per-install industry is shifting towards display and developing their own ad-server. You might want to give it a try. They seem to have experience with download/media/mp3 websites, since this was one of their main areas in per-install as well.
