I am developing a platform for online courses and i'm doubts which use link structure. I would like your help on the best option in this case.

Here are some options such as:

To CATEGORIES:
1. domain.com/name-category/
2. domain.com/courses/name-category/
3. domain.com/courses-online/nome-da-categoria/
4. domain.com/category/name-category/

For INDIVIDUAL COURSE:
1. domain.com/name-course/
3. domain.com/course/name-course/
2. domain.com/courses/name-course/
4. domain.com/course/category/name-course/
5. domain.com/category/course/name-course/

In your opinion what is the best structure?

if your domain name have the "course" or "courses", you should avoid duplicated keywords, imo, shorter are better

Likely for the normal user, I choose the 2nd, because it's easier for me when I want to find a course

My domain has "courses" but I believe separated by a "/" works fine.

it seems like over optimized keywords to me, anyhow it should not be a problem as i have few domain have duplicated keywords ranking on top. i would prefer to use shorter url

I am using these two methods and gaining good results. So, i can sure to suggest these 2 methods to you also.
