[GET] away from AC...good alternatives!

I have spent long days and nights searching the forums and the whole Internet to find sites that pay you for your passion...writing!

I started to write for AC only with JV's. That works good for me but as you might already have read on the forums here, AC's payment go down with the time. So it is time for me to move on and spread my writings to as much alternatives as possible. "Diversification" is what I live for!

So here I compiled a list of more sites like AC. Some of them pay upfront and some of them only pay on a per view base. But the big advantage is that quite a lot of them also pay non US citiziens.

If you are in the same position as I was, the problem of finding good alternatives for AC, please give me a thanks

If one of you has personal experience and feels like to warn from one of these sites, please do so and I will mark them somehow. I did not test all sites. It takes some time to give fair statements on the sites if you wrote only 3 days for them.

Also if you have a great site to add please tell me, too and I will update immediately.

if someone could also update how much each one pays up front, or whether they pay just on pageviews, etc. that would be most helpful. For instance, i signed up for helium after seeing pays of up to $40 offered per article. Of course that made me want to sign up. Then I realized that hundreds of people turn in articles for each topic and only one gets picked for that $40, so you might be writing for a waste of time. That was kinda lame.

Killer list of sites. I used to do some rewriting for AC and I have to agree that the pay sucks. However I went over to constantcontent and started rewriting / selling articles. I was doing good for a little bit, making around $50 an article.

However you have to have really good writing habits. Mine suck and they banned my account after rejecting 3 of my articles. They are super anal about that kind of stuff.

D*mn! Just got the ban hammer from CC yesterday! What sucks is that I got 3 rejections due to petty little things (invalid format; blah-blah). Yesterday they finally banned me--- plagiarism, they say :yield: It was a re-written article, yeah, but it passed C0pyscape 100% so I was like, WTF?

the conclusion is they used a better check machine, not just copyscape i think.
Find other way to make "original looking" article

Helium sucks! Used it for about six weeks and wrote an article where I quoted PETA. They said I plagerized the content even though I had an email from PETA saying I could use it. They wouldn't even let me explain. Then they tried to highjack the 40 articles I had with them until I told them they'd either have to pay me or I'd take them to court. They don't pay until you reach $50.00 and I could even get the money they owed me!

Constant Content is always asking for re-edits, its too time consuming to be worth the effort. Demand is good on paying but get the wrong editor and they'll reject your articles even after you rewrite it to exactly what they want. No recourse either. Plus if you get rejected alot they'll block you from the site.

Is there any place you do recommend besides AC? You seem to be a fairly well versed writer.

The content publishers pop up all the time and what works for someone may not work for you. Try them out and you maybe surprised. If you're using ghost writers it shouldn't matter. I work mainly as a ghost writer, but for high level business stuff. You know the executive that wants to look smart but can't put two sentences together. I do AC as a sideline.

Hey, thanks for the list. We're at the beta test phase of our article software and needed more services to submit rewritten articles to for unique filter testing. We document the heck out of everything, so I'll hopefully remember to come back to this thread and comment on our experiences with the various sites you listed, maybe rating them by preference.
