[GET] away from AC...good alternatives!

I'd say Demand Studios is the best with regards to how much you can make, but they're also extremely picky.

Thanks Redtide. When you said "extremely picky" what exactly did you mean. Have you got some of the articles rejected, because of the quality or just because they are interested in the specific niches?

You have to have a very professional portfolio and resume to be able to submit to them. It also can take up to a month for them to review your qualifications (usually 2 weeks)

Also you'll need to submit a W9 before you start submitting (unlike AC) and the quality of your writing needs to be top notch or they won't even consider your submissions.

Demand Studios pays weekly (Fri) and usually pay $15 an article if it's accepted.Again, it's really tough to get accepted though.

To me, AC is the best choice of all the sites listed. It's the easiest to scale up and make a full time living from. It also offers multiple ways to earn which few of the others do.

I've found that Bukisa in particular is a total joke (shave article views and take months to pay) but try to tempt people in with their "$3.40 per 1000 views". Completely useless when they shave the way they do.

Anyone who does not use their Demand Studios account interested in selling it? I have seen Assoc Content accounts on here for sale but not Demand Studios. You know I was writing with Demand before and they just let people go for not being mind readers. They don't do it right away, I worked about 6 mos. They have 5 word titles , no descriptions so you have to guess what they want which makes a need for rewrites. After so many rewrites you are dismissed with no warning. They are picky but I need the money and they don't let people reapply if they are let go, or denied as a writer from the beginning. Sucks! So anyone please, if you don't use it can you remove your personal info and sell it? Thanks

Break Studios also pays. It's sorta like Demand Studios (no relations to each other though) but pays $8 per articles.

http://examiner.com/ (US and some select cities in Canada) Page view only but no one know exactly how much (some calculate it to be between $5-$10 per 1000 page views). Monthly payment via paypal on the 20th of the following month once writers have reached the $25 pay out min. (sometimes payment is said to be late). Good for traffic because Examiner is in google news plus they allow referral links in the article as long as the article isn't spammy and the referral links matches the article topics.

ive yet to try the alternatives, but thanks for sharing. ive stopped using ac for awhile since its really hard for me being based in asia.
 
yeah AC may be hard if you are in Asia like me, because they will only pay you per page views or performance views. Any other alternatives which pay upfront payments for non-US residents?

Majority of these sites are American owned, run by people who don't want to pay major taxes for international writers. So the answer to your question is a NO, for right now.

So that would leave page view payments and/or adsense sharing sites.

I'm currently in India (but will be in the US from June on an F-1 Student Visa) so I'm not an american citizen (no W9). What are the best sites that offer upfront pay and have a workaround that W9 problem. I have excellent article writers working for me and can match up demand studio easily, just need a way to let them take my articles without W9.

last night i got payment from ac.they make me shock!
3 article i made only 1 accepted.they pay me only $3 for 9 page article. wtf!
