I was doing some research for a few different niches to work on creating videos for youtube. I understand the basics of YT SEO and things like that should be considered to be the basics.
I am not trying to use other people's content or anything, I'd be creating my own unique content in what would seem like some pretty lucrative niches, where level of expertise would protect me from people flagging my videos or competition unless there are other people with similar skill level but even then I doubt they'd do youtube videos.
I don't mind sharing a little about the niches; One niche is in learning foreign language and the other niche is in learning related to software.
Looking at google keyword planner there are some pretty decent search volume, with multiple keywords global monthly searches, 800-20k. Although there are some really old videos ranked high, when I look at the associated pages for each video on the first 3 pages, they all seem to have done 1 maybe 2 videos and then totally disappeared.
These niches while they seem okay to me, I was wondering about adblockers. The people who would be interested in these topics might not be interested in seeing ads, banners or otherwise when they are watching my content. I don't have anything that would "go viral" but these niches seem like people will always be looking for the information that I provide.
I plan to do 15 minute episodes to get a few changes for preroll video ads, a few banners and maybe an ad in the middle or towards the end of the video.
There are a lot of experienced youtubers on here, do you think adblockers would be a problem? Especially in niches like these?
Anyone have experienced issues with adblockers killing revenue?
