hello,

I have a youtube channel and one video is making 13-16.000daily views, 6000impresions/day and 160 clicks/day average.
I am new in youtube/adsense and I was expecting at least $10-$20 for 16.000 views after checking socialblade com and vidIQ(chrome plugin) they calculate 1,5$*1000.

I know that formula for calculating earnings on youtube is more complicated than just 1.5*1000 so I would just like to know what is your experience, how much on average you guys make per 1.000 page views. Are my earnings ok? and if other yt partnerships pay more and give you more click. My yt channel is fail/win compilation.

Or is there any other thing I can do to maximize my youtube income.

It depends in what niche you are for example funny videos will make less then animations or how to videos,it depends on video length if your video is 30-40 secs length it will make less. depends on traffic as well, like if its from russia or vietnam or whatever it will make less then traffic from usa, canada,uk australia

The location of the visitors is what makes the biggest difference when dealing with AdSense. What you make is determined based on bidding for the clicks by advertisers and advertisers are willing to pay vastly different prices for people from different countries. US and EU traffic will make you much more than traffic from let's say India or Pakistan. It's just based on the presumed buying power of consumers, because advertisers pay for people they can sell stuff to and a person from a wealthier country is likely to spend much more online. Additionally, the context is quite important as well because advertiser in different niches are willing to pay very different prices for clicks. Advertisers want targeted people, so having targeted visitors pays off. That's why funny videos (that basically have zero targeting) make much less for clicks from the same location. There are also other factors at play like click through rates, repeat visitors and so on.

Look more deeply into your AdSense reports.

Thank you both for reply, majority of my audience is from US so that`s good. I think main problem is my nich and bad engagement.

I`m not targeting any country

It also depends on the niche and what countries you are targeting. You must check the video length and where the ads appear too. Thats what I know, wait for other users to answer you.
