YT policy with compilation and watermarked videos.

Hi, I plan to create a compilation from other video sources, remove or blur the watermark and reupload to YT again. I've seen compilations in YT with other people's watermarks, blurred and even mirrored watermark so it looks flipped.

What's YT policy on this? these compilations have thousands of views and still there, so this means is allowed or is a grey area?

Its not a YouTube policy as they don't own the footage... You could be flagged by other uploaders or get a claim from them... I think its a grey area and it all depends on how lucky you are to keep things under the radar from fellow Ytubers..

True, but I guess other uploaders will me more pissed if I remove the watermark. I guess I will leave the watermark or just flip the video.

Are your accounts going to be use in a churn-burn style or does the livelyhood of those accounts matter more than making a quick buck?

I would like them to live a long life, lol. I've seen videos in the same format I want and they have thousands of views.
