Hi guys,
I just got accepted to a bunch of CPA networks. Over the last months I built up some websites and social media channel and want to start making money now.
I know it's very subjective and you all probably have different ways of choosing the best offer... but what is most important for you to look at? Conversion rate? Commission per sale?...
Looking for something in the Making Money Online niche and there seem to be 1000's of offers all looking similar.

Thanks
Nick

If the first page gives away a freebie and then leads to the offer it can be good

I've been promoting CPA offer for 16+ years.

I heavily promote PPL (pay per lead) offers because there is no credit card required. All a user has to do is fill out a form to make money. So conversions are typically much higher than offer that require a sale.

I favor offers that have a make, get or save money angle to them, as these have typically worked the best for me. As they tend to have the highest mass appeal, so the potential to produce high volume exists. I will also promote offers that don't have the angle or even some that require a sale, but the key is that they still need to have mass appeal or solve a house is on fire type problem.

There are many PPL offers that pay $20-$60 (some higher depending on the vertical) that work well on front-end campaigns. Offers that pay less than around $15 or those that require a sale, I will will promote on the back-end.

You still need to test offers and you need to split test the same type of offers against each other, to find which ones are really the best. There is just no getting around it. Unless someone is willing to tell you what their best offers are, which is not likely to happen. You could ask your account manager for advice.

However, while having good offers is important, being able to generate cost effective traffic is going to be key and why most fail. You can have great offers, but if you can't generate traffic, it's not going to matter...you won't make any money.

I always advice to my affiliates to test many different offers simoultaneously to find one that converts VERY well. The key here is how the offer converts on your traffic source. I would advise you to start with lower payout offers and try to test as many as possible with your traffic source. If you find a winner you could easily be making $5k+/day even with a $0.50 payout CPL/CPI offer.

Check how much offers have downloads on it and EPC on that. Or just contact your AM and he will fix everything ;)

EPC is a great indicator whether an offers is converting well or not. However I personally would not solely rely on EPC. What I would do is choosing about 7-8 offers right off the bat, where the Landing Pages look decent enough and start split testing them. I beleive that only you and your traffic source can determie if the offer is good or not. You need to test it out.

Contact your affiliate manager, they usually know what's performing well. you can do the math yourself by looking at the EPC
