Let's End All the Bullshit Right Now

OP, are you ready to have your mind blown? Are you ready?

Type this into Google:
Code:
[COLOR=#00ff00](Insert keyword here or delete this text)[/COLOR] method "2016" site:blackhatworld.com
0d41808f60af8871fa122b3b0f37ab1b.gif

There is no reason to make this so difficult for everybody. Every single category in these pages (traffic, seo, email marketing, etc) should be organized top down into a best CURRENT method as voted on by the subscribers and then everything else below it for historical/amusement purposes only. Discussions should be had regarding WHY a method works best for the majority, suggested tweaks, etc. A consensus should be reached. A consensus that is organic and changes over time as new methods are brought forward and discussed.

The time necessary to invest in testing out each approach is WAY too much. You cannot expect people to stumble upon something that SOUNDS plausible and then waste 8 months trying to make it work only to find out that it was suggested by some lame script kiddie having a waking wet dream and running off at the mouth optimistically as to what he HOPES to achieve one day but presenting it as a fait accompli.
The problem with your suggestion is that many people join this forum to ask questions about their own strategies, so organising the forum in a way that only allows the most popular "current" method threads to appear at the top of the page could cause these question threads to not be noticed. Before you say anything, even if the forum displays modern method threads first, there will still be members creating threads to have their questions answered about specific parts of a method.

Now, creating a separate sub-forum filled with only methods is a concept that I had considered suggesting in the past in the Forum Suggestions & Feedback section, but I ultimately decided against suggesting this as the entire idea was too convoluted and could have unforeseen consequences.

For now, the sticky threads at the top of most of the sub-forums (the "Please Read:" threads) will have to do. :)

I love the idea of this site. A place where everyone can come to share ideas and gain education on the topic of IM, whatever the color of the hat. But the problem with these kinds of sites is that people come into them in 2016, read stuff from two years ago or longer and wonder:

a. does it still work?; and
b. has something better come along?

Then some guy who's spent the better part of his life in here reading every single thread replies with something like "The answers are all in here. Just read."

Well I am here to say that that's not good enough.

A consensus that is organic and changes over time as new methods are brought forward and discussed.

A reader should be able to enter these pages and immediately find the best email marketing strategy to date as determined by the subscribers.

The current disorganization of this material renders it almost useless.

I understand your frustration. We've all been there, but..

"methods" don't make you money.

We still talk about 'methods', but it's really an outdated concept. Years ago when IM was smaller and easier you'd have simple methods that would make you money.

Back in 2006 to 2008 people were making $1000's a day spamming myspace profiles with comments like "Dating Site: Click here."

That was a method.

Today you need to understand marketing, copywriting, web design, tech, project management, managing employees(outsourcers usually) and many more concepts.

IM has evolved and the people dominating now are entrepreneurs, not dudes with a myspace spam bot.

Like take my thread for example, the one in my signature. I've created that with the intention of helping people do what I do. There's no hidden motives. I do it because I want to build authority and trust so I can network and share knowledge with people.

So far, I've written about 15k words. It'll total to about 20k-22k words.

However, if I went back in time, and applied everything in that guide without my experience, I wouldn't just magically start making money. You can read books on anything, but it won't turn you into an expert. What it'll do is make the process towards becoming an expert a lot easier, smoother, quicker.

My guide for example, in the right hands will help someone go from $0 to $1k/mo to $5k/mo within a year. Some within 6 months, but they'll still have lots of failures.

What you're asking for, is a few hundred words, with some steps that will guarantee success. It's like saying to a CEO, "Give me some steps I can follow so I'll be a powerful, charismatic, strong leader and my employees will follow me and work hard for me".

If your goal is to build a successful business you'll have to buckle in for the long haul. Be prepared to work your socks off for the next 5 years without anything in return. That's the kind of attitude you need to succeed in business.

Good luck to you.

I was going to quote what OP said but.. since so many others have done this already.. I believe we know what he said at this point lol. Now.. in regards to "organizing to current and working methods"...is something that doesn't need to happen, and I'm a "Noob" saying this <-- Allow me to explain.

1. Over saturation to the point that method would be dead within the day (well to those who take action)
2. You check the the older threads and read it. Though the original Method may not work, a twist or 2 may make it GOLD again. with an IQ of 162, I'm sure you can do this :)
3. You have to put in the time I'm sorry. I'm on this forum damn near everyday, reading post after post after post after post. Between Making Money, Black and White SEO, The Lounge (has some good stuff there surprisingly), IM journeys, etc etc. While I haven't made a dime yet, my knowledge of subjects have expanded. When you see "new" methods come up.. when you have read enough, you can not only see how they came up with it...but make it work for you with your twist. That's something you get with time.

4. I forgot which member said it (I think it was asap1), but it was stated to learn a skill instead of chasing the method. The more I read in this forum.. the more truthful that statement became.
5. Google

TL; DR No, this is a horrible idea. Like everyone else, read bro. Otherwise, there's always the WF....but they charge lol.

This value of this site isn't spoon-fed methods. That's not how you make any significant amount of money. If there was some simple process to magically make $40k/month then everyone would be rich and there would be no stable form of currency. The real way to make money is to learn the skills used by members here, then use that knowledge to capitalize on a market with your own ideas.

Sometimes people get lucky with the cheesy methods like spinning review sites or some other bullshit, but that's not a real long-term strategy. I'm not saying it's bad to try those methods, and it IS possible to make some money with them, but the real value is what you get out of trying those methods. Using the same example, you might learn how to create a wordpress site, install themes, and optimize your website with SEO. Most likely you will fail your first attempts, but when you try again you might learn how to optimize your layout, ad placements, etc. to successfully funnel traffic. Each time you try something different, you get closer to achieving your goal.

The reason people who have been here a long time say that all the answers are here is because they are. But it does take a long time and a lot of hard work to build on these methods and hone the different skills and knowledge to create something that works. Anyone that has made a significant amount of money here has tried a plethora of different methods and understands this process. However, the result of the process isn't making money; it is giving yourself the skills to make money. It's not easy.

For now, the sticky threads at the top of most of the sub-forums (the "Please Read:" threads) will have to do. :)

Typically the tl;dr reading can be done with the sticky as well as the emails that BHW sends out periodically on the hot threads.

On the other hand, you'll be able to see ideas from a lot of people and take those ideas and update them to '16 or see variations in your mind of what you see working as opposed to what you do not see as effective for threads that you find unattractive or no longer effective if you cruise the forum.

Lot's of things get posted there that may not fit your eye but even reading them gives you the opportunity to make you more of a renaissance IMer as opposed to one that is stuck in a box.

I study a non computer related topic and know almost no code. I have a larger learning curve then most at this stuff but that has not stopped me from working on some projects suggested by members on here. Also, from what I have seen I think warrior forum is a waste of time.

OP, you have a misconception about the purpose of this forum. There are no working methods here, only partially working methods. The difference between working and partially working is so huge that it almost makes them useless. The forum is still good however, and this is how you can use it:

1. Invent something new, come here and check whether you reinvented the wheel or not.

2. See where the crowd is heading, head to the opposite direction.

After a year of mostly lurking and studying, I can now say that I understand (sort-of) how certain aspects of IM, SEO, etc., work. There are threads from last summer (remember all the facebook stuff taking off?) that I did not understand at all at the time. Now I kick myself that I didnt jump on it immediately back then, but it would have most likely been useless and I would have lost money. I didnt understand. It was like explaining sex to a 3 year old.

I have found so many golden threads buried way back, and maybe you can't follow the guide to the letter and make immediate cash but with a few basic twists you can find almost untouched or completely neglected traffic sources, marketing angles, and plain out inspiration. how did i find them? The advanced search function!

Now that I know how things work, i can imagine different twists, my OWN twists, plan them out, and put them into action like a bloodthirsty khan. tomorrow I am starting the action phase of a project that involves adult. I am quite certain that I will be one of the few if not the only one on the continent who will be marketing a quality product in this manner (adult is not dead, just stop treating it like its 2006 and spamming the shit out of it. tubesite? GTFO!). In fact, my only fear is that it might be TOO successful! How did i get to this point?

Hours upon HOURS of research! think like university style studying! Search is your friend(though yes, it is infuriating).

the difficulty in navigating this site helps to weed out those that arent really interested. I'm curious what the stats are for accounts with 1-20 (useless) posts. probably most of them were "gibs me dat" posters and very few actually stayed around and learned or contributed.

though one search request.....is there any way to blend out sales posts? i find search to be awkward but wading through the multiple pages of sales threads(actual and ancient), no matter the search query makes me want to shoot somebody after an hour.

oh and as always.....adult section!

Two words OP... "Advanced Search"

Or is that to difficult?

I love the fact all the posts, both old and new are mixed together. Finding out how previous working methods were shut down, give you a better understanding of how with a few twists they "may" still work today.

OP I'm going to give you my entire initial business model in this post, safe in the knowledge that you'll do fuck all with the information.

1. Learn how to rank websites. How to do that is genuinely spoon-fed on this forum.
2. Create, or have created a website that advertises you as an SEO agency. Get a good quality business card made.
3. Get out in the real world and talk to business owners via networking meetings, conventions, chambers of commerce, knocking on doors.
4. Don't be a cunt (you may struggle there).
5. Do a good job, act professional, know what you're talking about - you've just beat 99% of the competition.
6. Enjoy the steady stream of work that comes your way as people refer you to other business people.
7. Profit.

Your attitude stinks though, it's going to be your main barrier to success. Read 'How to win friends and influence people' (you just broke principle #1) and then repeat step 4.

+rep for Step 4

I don't think OP understands how hard our mods work to make sure this forum doesn't descend into mass anarchy and become a no man's land like WaFo.

You're being a dick and you haven't even been here a week.

You've made some genuinely shitty comments that are indicative of someone who has an entitled attitude.

People who are entitled don't think they're supposed to do ANY work. They think they're just supposed to get the end results of the work they refuse to do.

That's why WaFo sells WSOs. They capitalize on people who have your attitude.

That's why you're still buying WSOs with your "high" IQ. Because you feel you're entitled to having everything handed to you. And when it isn't, you complain and act like a victim.

How much money are you making bitching and being a victim OP? Just curious.

I love this type of people, I run my blog and believe me, I get 20-30 mails like this on my blog.

You know what 90% of them are asking me?

"How much earnings in my first month can you guarantee me?"

Crazy shit, this is not a place where someone can just transfer you money to your Paypal and show you how to grow money in your backyard.

But you can find useful threads for sure.

No one can show you a-z on how he made that money, but at least I always try to show you some parts of my methods that will make you think for yourself so you can make your own twist.

"or didn't you find that $5 a day method you are desperate for?"

That's what we call in the real world a straw-man argument. I never said any such thing. I simply pointed out that it is inefficient and stupid to ask every new subscriber to wade thru thousands of posts in hopes of finding something worthwhile, especially given that so much of it is out-dated, blocked by Google/Facebook or never really worked in the first place.

If your purpose for this site is to see how many people will try and fail and eventually give up because the few things they did find, 6 months of hard work later, turned out to be bogus, then congratulations, you've succeeded.

But if the purpose of this site is to share CURRENT, EFFECTIVE methods, then you have failed miserably.

Please respond to my actual point rather than making one up for me.
Now, go back and read what I actually posted and then try again.

Now the moderators are demanding a donation before they will post my messages. Priceless.
