It's impossible to earn on youtube anymore...

Does anyone know what happens with the next months adsense payment ?

I've read that money from channels with disabled monetization is reducted from the finalized payment.. I earned a lot this month, around 5.5 K, typical earnings were $ 500-1600

I also sent a counter-notification for 1 strike, I'll see how that goes. But most likely it won't go good...

man what are you posting when you earn so much from ads

I am guessing your content is not original. If yes, then Youtube is bound to get you sooner or later.

It's possible to earn a lot with YouTube. Make sure you have a channel with copyright videos that you make. Focus on having a channel that contains legal content. Above everything use your very own ideas. It's better and safe anytime. Give us an idea about what you have uploaded. We will know why your account was suspended.

None of these answers answer my questions, low quality answers... I was not asking 'why did I receive the strike?'...

Does really no one here has any experience with youtube and adsense ?

So this earning suspension is true...

I earned around 5000, even more, and all those earnings came from the 2 channels that had disabled monetization. So my total earnings this month is around 400. -4600 reduction ... :(

I remember when you received strike your monetization was intact. Now they just disable monetization immediately. All this started in the last December when they changed the monetization policy...

This is why #WTFU has been trending lately. Youtube pretty much favors Hollywood and pre-established Youtubers to gain revenue, as opposed to smaller channels who get kicked in the curb. In addition, their Copyright System is so broken anyone can claim your video without Youtube having to double-check it for clarification.

I used to earn anywhere between $200-500/month for posting news and clips on Cartoons and Anime, but as Content ID and manual flagging becomes all too common, I lost a whopping 85% of my normal revenue, which sucks balls.

I tried setting up a crowd-funding source like Patreon (I use Flattr for this), but I got nothing out of it.

While making original content is essentially the safest and most secure way of posting without getting flagged, the problem is whether or not someone like me is capable of creatively producing such content, and if it connects to the audience. It's even harder because of Youtube's algorithm set so that anyone going into Youtube will be served with tons of videos with a high viewing count (again, from Hollywood and established Youtubers) rather than discover upcoming videos from smaller channels and the like.

Guys, youtube and copyright videos method is GONE. Youtube have new stricter rules about that, they dont want any copyrighted videos on their site and they are working hard every day to STOP people who posts 3rd party videos and monetizing them. Its true that you can still earn from doing this but its only possible on unsatured niches.
My friend earned arround 9k$ within 1 month by uploading cartoons. But, its PAST.Now If you search for cartoons you will find some old videos, in past if you try searching for the cartoon you would see hundreds of new videos which are uploaded few hours ago (they were using unlisted method and its patched by youtube).

Its not hard to earn money with youtube, you just need to be creative and see what people would like to watch.
There are a lot of money on desk, you just need to find a way how to grab them.

I hope that I helped you. Have a good day.

That is provided the person is capable of creating original content that will connect with the Youtube audience. Say you want to provide a cartoon you made entirely by yourself, but you're not quite good at it, but you do it anyway. How then do you get more people to watch your cartoon when you are competing against the likes of Nickelodeon or Disney, for instance, whose own channels generate millions of views?

Realistically speaking, some people are just more creative than others when producing content. And in the world of Youtube, it's those people that have a better chance at getting more views, which means more revenue.

Will google detect me if I'm using different credit card for payouts, but with the same name ?

Damn, it must be gut-wrenching receiving a message like that. It would suck to have to start again, especially if you invested a lot into something you just lost. I would lost all motivation to try again if that happened. I guess there are some things we just cannot control, that's why I try to stay as safe as possible on the internet and follow rules, its one place you don't want to get in trouble in, especially if there is money involved.

The thing is that its too populated right know, everyone is uploading videos and only the ones with high number of sucribers get their videos seen. If want to prosperate in youtube you should have started few years ago...
