Hi guys! Im planning to make a niche classified ads website for college students. What is the best host for this type of website? I'm planning on purchasing the cheapest wordpress classipress theme and a bluehost plan since I'm low on budget and i think that i wont get that much traffic on the first months. If I get more traffic and users then I'll switch to a better host.

Is this a good idea? Or do I immediately purchase an expensive host? Thanks.

If your are in low budget, you can try to subscribe on monthly basic, so that you wont dump out so much money in one time, but of cause the money price will be slightly higher compare to yearly price.

If you know how to set up a server then I would recommend using a self managed VPS server. Will work out better in long run when your site starts to grow and you dont have to worry about moving it.

If budget is really an issue then any shared hosting plan with a good provider will work to get you started. Just put a plan together as your site grows you will need to move to a VPS or Dedicated to keep your site up and running smooth.
