Goal to $5/day before School Ends

Just a short introduction.

I'm 15 (you probably don't care) and I got into IM a month ago. A little bit of experience in SEO to none and little to no experience in Amazon Associates thingy.

I also don't like spending money FYI. So I like writing everything myself and buying domains for $1 each.

Now, if your reading this and don't want to follow a 15 year old go through the process of not going the right way, this isn't the journey thread for you.

This thread is for the people that are just starting out and want to see if a certain path works to try it for themselves. So if your a newbie like me and want to follow along and earn daily passive income, lets do it!

About the Journey

I have made some micro niche websites in the past and they make me a few bucks a day through adsense but recently, all my domains has been ?deactivated? because I didn't submit an ID for verification (1&1 Domains, Don't go with them!!). I registered a new domain with a different registar for this new journey.

In this journey, I will be using just one domain and building a big website out of that domain. But because I like spending $1 everywhere, I might buy some more domains to include in this journey if its good enough.

I will call the domain I am starting off with, AmazonA.

Plans --

I am planning to build an Amazon Associate Website with links of course linking to Amazon Products and earning commission off of sales.

I'm planning on writing lengthy articles on "long tail keywords" for a lot of organic traffic.

I'm also planning on promoting on relevant sub reddits as it worked well for my niche websites.

Articles will be at least 600 words and will contain a lot of graphics (since I'm trying to upsell).

After a few articles has been posted (10) I will start buying some backlinks here on BHW to help improve rankings.

I actually cheated a little bit and got started with AmazonA.

This is what I did so you guys can catch up if you are going along with me.

I found a compact niche like PC Headphones and bought a good domain for it. Not EMD but a brandable domain that relates to the niche.

I then researched some long tail keywords to get some article ideas and saved them as drafts in wordpress.

For hosting, I took advantage of Hostgator's 60% Christmas deal and got the unlimited domains one for around $40 or so..

For the theme, I have a folder with around 500 premium wordpress themes that I compiled from BHW myself (Anyone want it?) so I just chose one from there. (Ribbon)

UPDATE #1
I actually didn't do much for write 2 articles with long tail keywords in them. One was of significant length (2,700 words) and one was 700 words.

I make my titles look decent and make them decent enough to click. For example, Top # Best AmazonA Niche Products.

I've promoted on the subreddit this niche belongs in and used proxies that I ordered from BHW to upvote that reddit post. I actually got those proxies by a crowdfund from a skype group...

I've gotten 200 visits from reddit and one from organic on my first day after I promoted the 2,700 word article. Pretty impressive. Next day, I checked on my Amazon control panel and saw 54 clicks and 1 order shipped! So yay! If my calculations are correct, the reader ordered a $70 AmazonA niche product and I earned a commision of $2.8 (4%).

I'm on my way of getting $5/day!!

If I buy the WP Plugin from Shezboy here in BHW for their "Link Clocker", Will my rank rise a bit more since Google cant see the affiliate links?

OP.Good luck on your journey.The PC market is very competitive because some of the Google searches have high authority sites in them, but if can you find a small niche within that market that big authority sites overlooked you can succeed.

That is my biggest concern. However, I'm targeting long tail keywords that have under 150 searches a month for some organic traffic and low competiton. That is my biggest bet.

Also, I hope that the social market can help me beat those big giant authority sites.

I didn't see this update while I was writing.Like you made your first sale already congrats you made your first sale you did better than me when I started as a noob.It took me years as a newbie to make my first sale online.

Yea, I didn't expect it either. I made my first sale the day I launched the website. I guess Reddit is a really good way to promote.

I guess that 2,700 article that took me 2 hours to write was worth it after all .

Oh and also, later on there might be people who say to flip some burgers to get some cash to invest in a website.

Thing is, I'm a immigrant and I don't have worker permit so I have to restrain from working offline.

UPDATE 2
Alright, so it seems that Amazon updates the control panel every 24 hrs so I just checked on my Amazon control panel this morning.
1 items shipped (yesterday = $2.8) and 3 items ordered.
So three customers ordered in total and one was already shipped. So I already made back my domain money ($1) and maybe hosting fees if I included that in.

As of right now, I have 3 articles in with around 700 words of length each. I have google alerts on so that I can add comments to get a bit more traffic. I made a comment yesterday on an article made yesterday and got three people to come through that link so thats also good.

Going to write another article now, I'll update you guys on how much I got from those 2 orders after they are shipped.

Thanks for all the motivation before this update! I need all the luck I can get so that I can reach $5/day before the school year ends! (5 months)

As I said on my first post, I got 60% discount so I paid $40 but the thing is, I use it for all my sites. Just for the PROFIT/LOST thing, I'll say I invested $12 to hosting since some hosting companies charge $12 for hosting + domain (GoDaddy).

$40 for 12 month? I'm confused you have other sites too using the same hosting?

UPDATE 3
I want to change my updates a little bit with the profits. I want to show you guys the money invested and the profit. I didn't include hosting in the original updates but I guess I will since its pretty crucial. Hosting is $25 and Domain was $1.

Revenue: $2.8
3 Orders were made and one was shipped. Amazon updates their control panel every 24hrs so I guess I'll know if the items were shipped or not tomerrow.
Loss: $25 + $1 = $26
Hosting fees for ONE year + Domain Registration

PROFIT: $2.8 - $26 (let me get calculator) = - $23.2

Looking at a loss so far as of now. I'll update the profits and revenue once the orders are shipped.
