If you are login to a website such as LinkedIn, is the software able to scrape virtually all email addresses or do they need to be present via a search engine?

It has the ability to crawl websites as well with authentication but it can only scrape the emails that are visible to members.

So if I as a member cant view the email, then it cant be scraped?

Yes that is correct. Some websites have strict protection to prevent software from scraping emails.

so can this tool scrape emails if i already have the names and phone numbers?

You can either feed the software keywords and it will go to google and scrape emails from websites based on those keywords or you can feed it URL's and it will try to crawl and scrape them to extract emails, etc.

Just an observation..
I'm using the trial version of email spider and have a very popular Law of Attraction Domain I'm scraping email lists from.
Based on the results so far, not every email is originating from the exact domain I've specified, and I have parse from external URLs unchecked.
If this is the case (not sure if other users have similar or different results), then it's self defeating adding a domain and hoping the software will only parse emails
from this exact domain no?
If emails are simply random, then it's quite difficult attempting to market to a blind email list without having some inclination of their interests etc.

No this tool does not create email accounts, its more of a scraper + mailer.

One feature that seems to be missing from all of these programmes is a LOUD noise to tell you that the programme has finished doing what you asked it to.
Maybe you could add this into the next release? Maybe an email notifier also so that you can have your mobile phone with you somewhere else in the house and you will be notified as soon as the programms has finished.
This way you can mazimise output so you can have the programme running pretty much 24/7 with almost no gaps.

Question: I could not find any mention of software that will ignore robot, htaccess,noodp, noydir. I could not scrape emails from a site with Scrapebox (does it have anything to do with me having it for only 10 days now?) and I saw that it had these no-js, noodp, noydir, nofollow. Would GSA email spider do the job? Any strategies you recommend?

There are filtering options for skipping certain extentions but if you want to let me know the specific URL you're trying to scrape, we can test it out.
