So there is no point in siloing if I don't really care about ranking for those top biggest keywords? I want to plan an authority site that targets many connected niches but focus on easy keywords, at least at the beginning.

The purpose is to distribute the link juice and create a friendly structure for users.
I believe that Silo structure helps you understand how users navigate and is also an excellent Seo strategy.
Ultimately I will always use it (even if I do not have big search volume keywords to rank).

If you're planning to build an authority website you don't have other choises than Silo...
With easy keyword Silo will work better and you will need less backlinks to rank.

I'm always starting after 45/60 days to biuld backlinks I want to wait until I've 100 pages in Google's index.
It isn't a role, but In this way I've a solid structure and my backlinks have a lot of sense (I think no one will link a resource after only 2 weeks where there are only 10 pages).

Also, I have seen many website ranking with only a few pages indexed and no backlinks at all. Do you have any ideas how do they do it ?

Pages' age is playing a huge role, I think these pages are ranking well because are low competition SERPs, plus are aged.
You can still rank without backlinks but this will take from 8 month to a year (I believe that no one will lose so much time if the whole process can be sped up).

These are my data, probably you'll rank faster in some specific niches without backlinks The problem is always there, not everyone is willing to see the fruits after 8 months...

You can really have one email model to send to all webmasters.
I'm from 5 to 10 different models to send with different requests and goals.

I got your point, the problem is that your Toaster can have one important (main) feature.
When you're selling you can't offer much choice to users because to convert they need to read "This version is the best and does that which no product is able to do".

For this reason we both know that a product can be in different categories (Smart and Countertop) but you can include it only in one category because you can't shuffle the cards.
Your content must be organized and purpose of the silo is just that. If you need to link "best smart toaster" in "best countertop toaster" content do it with no-follow.

Obviously you noindex them but if you put those somewhere in menu or footer doesn't it spill the link juice? And can you have featured posts on homepage? Can I just put in the homepage's sidebar some Reviews and Featured Articles that are posts (not categories, as categories are placed in the main menu)? Thanks!

As you can see at Christmas orders have increased (I can find the same thing on many other sites).
In 10 days I got near 600 orders, never seen this amount of orders in this short time frame.

Conversion rate is now 3,59% (10 days stats). I think because under Christmas the probability that a user convert is much higher (especially with commercial keywords).

Organic traffic is also increasing, here an updated graph (until yesterday).

Rankings are also improving, according to SemRush I've always 3300 keywords in the first 2 pages.
Really wrong data because I can see traffic coming from many many more keywords with more than 720 monthly searches.

Actually daily earnings average is 200 and we're only at the beginning (we will see something interesting in next months).

Privacy and all istitutional pages should be in noindex and when you need to link them use nofollow attribute.
I've these pages in my footer of any page but with nofollow it's all ok and my link juice stream is compact

I'm using posts but all internal link are done manually, actually can't find a good plugin to do that.
For this reason you should link only to posts related to the main silo or other main silos.

You can link every content of your site in any page, the important rule to follow is to use nofollow when you're outside your silos.

Yes, most popular on the homepage can't give value to users because if you've a big website on Dogs and people that are on your homepage can't be intersted in your most popular content "de-worm a dog".
The main reason to do silo is also create a guided tour for users because they need to read your commercial contents in your order (this concept based on your content planning).

I can't say more, I know you'll undertand.
When you've the 10 € my advice is to sell only from 1 to 200 € products (these products are the best for online selling).

a) 605, is written few posts above, please read before posting questions
b) A always start with 1 content idea in mind, I mean one thing a time.
c) I'm always targeting only 1 keyword for each content, than I update them with Webmaster Tools data...
d) Guidelines are niche/user intent/keyword based, I've few templates but if I will say them to you these don't give you the right direction (because are examples from my niche).
e) There isn't a master role, I always create contents based on user's intent. For example, if keyword suggests that people are looking for in-depth review I will review 10+ products in 5K content.
If keyword contains "price" I will create a 500 word content targeting one product and a landing page that converts... everything is always relative

Don't read much, try and fail to get the answer (this is one of those master rules).
