First of all, thank you for this amazing long response and your time, I really appreciate it.
Yes, I am exactly at that kind of transition now. From small 5 - 10 page sites, where you are ranking only home page, to bigger sites, where you want to rank each page and hell... it's making my head spin.
Parasites were quite easy, spam them, add sape and they rank... and get deleted obviously, but this is a different kind of animal.
1. Actually I am not using a new domain, this one had relatively high TF (around 15 at the beginning I believe) and DA of around 20 when I started working on it. Clean profile too, some default anchors as well and good history. It had some trouble getting indexed, which was weird, but now it's getting indexed without any issues.
2. Well I can send you a viewkey from Serpbook if you want, keywords are mostly somewhere, majority of them in top 100, average is like #50, but that's just not good enough.
3. Yes definitely this one. When I am using my PBN I am mostly targeting exactly the same keyword as I use on my money site and they rank naturally for it as well, which is one of the best backlinks I can get. And you are right about the web 2.0s, however I was outsourcing them, tried like 5 providers here and those web 2.0s weren't exactly optimized well, content was worse than crap and you have an idea. I tried to create web 2.0s myself and even though I was using spun content, it still took me 2 days to make 25 properties. It takes ages to figure out how to change theme, how to add article, how to add image etc., and Autofill Magic didn't make the process much faster. I was using a regular WordAI spinner for filler content and turing spinner for money site link content. Also added images, about us, etc. and after 5 days, none of them are still indexed, they are however currently under GSA contextual blasting.
4. I actually do check the competition quite thoroughly. I avoid authority sites completely and I can even show you if you want. I am using LTP and my keywords rarely have someone else targeting them in top 10. It's however questionable after Hummingbird update, whether it even matters, because synonyms are almost as relevant as exact match keywords.
5. Sure I am, I haven't been laid in 2 months.
I was actually using Pandabot, but christ, it was pain in the ass to set up and I hadn't seen any significant movement, seemed to me more like variance. But from my experience I could see my landing pages for youtube videos ranking pretty well only thanks to traffic, so yes, that might be one of the variables I may be missing.
One more thing that I would ask and where I think I am overanalyzing everything is onsite SEO. I am experimenting here, trying to stick with Phpbuilt's guides most of the time, but I am just not sure. I am changing keywords to see if it does anything, I am changing densities, I am putting tons of LSI keywords into the articles, I am doing slightest of changes to see the impact, but there is like no perfect number. Do you have any special way of working on onsite or you just stick with 1 - 2% density and don't care anymore?
Also, how closely related are your keywords you target in one article? Because this was another theory of mine, that they weren't that close. Example of what I usually target:
How to get rid of ugly girlfriend
ugly girlfriend treatment
best cure for ugly girlfriend
Lately I am trying to go this way:
ugly girlfriend treatment
best treatment for ugly girlfriend
how to treat ugly girlfriend
You have the idea.
And once again thank you, especially for the ecouraging words in the end.
