Has anyone seen what the Vicarious AI does to captcha?

While I was learning about artificial intelligence, I stumbled upon this company that is developing a unified algorithmic architecture to achieve human-level intelligence in vision, language, and motor control.

I saw this video on their website and I immediately thought how great it would be to get my hands on this software

This was uploaded 2 years ago, so I assume that their AI is even more powerful now. What do you guys think about it?

But I don't think AI is something to worry about too much, any AI would have to be programmed with a self-ful or racial ambition, which isn't a necessity for AI. Self preservation and personal liberty are also intelligences that would have to be programmed into them, which isn't a given but many people assume that it would be.

Even if people do programme AI with those traits, other people can program AIs without those traits to fight them, if anything even needed to be fought, it would have to take a very long and unchecked period of time and growth for it to get to that point.

Having said that, I'd place all the money in the world that technology is the thing that wipes humans out, just not AI.
