Do very short Articles hurt now ?

I have a website with 150 Articles between 600 and 2000 Words.

Now i want to make some singe pages with price comparrison for a single product. If i only write a few Lines about the product and add the price compare tool i will have maybe 50 words of content on the page.

Will this hurt the ranking from the rest of the site ?

Yeah there's no problem with using shorter articles. Its natural for sites to have articles of all sizes.

Number of words doesn't matter, the stuff inside it matters a lot. Provide an informative article.

Wrong it can rank, OP you can do that, this week I ranked #2 a 240k MS with only the title and 1 sentence of 20 words (keywords is a famous people name and content a video)

I meant it's not going to rank on it's own... Anything can rank if you throw enough juice at it.

Yes for this one I have build 3 no follow backlinks on popular forum... but 240k MS if OP want rank a longtails I think it goes well

EDIT: OP try by yourself, build a nice pillar articles and good backlinks on it, and do internal linking to you small articles and see what happen, if low comp you will rank easily

This is natural Bro, you can add sometimes articles with 150 - 300 words. This will not hurt rankings.

It's not about the video, it's about the time the visitors will stay on the page so if OP create a page with 50 words and a comparative reviews tool and the people stay 2 - 3 mins for read, it can rank

The last week I have rank #1 a 4400 MS with half the longtail with only the H1 title and 0 text content, just few image so it's possible, you just need give value to your visitors, but yes if you have a page saying nothing with 20 words it will not work but why you want rank an empty 20 words page ?

It's natural for a site to have articles of different lengths and the majority of yours are long so a few short ones here and there certainly won't hurt. I usually have a majority of 500-2000 word articles but I have a few that are about 150-300 words.

I believe its the content and the value of it that counts. Try reoccuring words and phrases.

Guys....Great job!! 150 articles are enough amount for a site. Which you are thinking you can do it but here 50 words should me unique and informative. It wouldn't create an impact on ranking.
