Google synonym vs actual word

So Google shows results with a synonym of the search and not just the actual word. Does google still prefer the exact word though or does it literally give zero fucks?

i.e When creating two articles 'top kitchen oven' and 'best kitchen oven' are they gonna be the same thing to google because top is a synonym of best?

Go to Google and type those two phrases and you'll get your answer. "Top" is associated with "most expensive" or the high-end brands and "Best" is a more affordable list that's rated well.

Type in 'top mobiles 2015' and you'll see top is replaced with best.

Mobile devices are a different animal. The only three devices anyone gives a fuck about are iphone, samsung, and nexus. So everyone writes about the same phones over and over. If you notice, you get different results with those two queries also.

With the kitchen example, there are tons of models, brands, and choices for different price ranges.

You could use cars as an example too. "top sport cars" people probably want the most expensive fastest shit out there. "best" is more of a buyer's term where I'm looking to buy. Do a search and you'll see.

Remember, you have to think of intent. Intent starts to show as Google figures out what people are looking for with different phrases.

However, Google is just as likely to consider results with closely-related synonyms, especially if they are backed up with strong links. My advice would be to use the exact phrase together with on-page LSI, creating a topic page. That way all bases are covered and you stand the best chance of ranking for your main terms and related ones, too.

Lol. Top is not synonyms of best but denotes high level of the product. Google still prefers the words what real people googling it in the box. Synonym words deffer from various people in various country so i suggest you the synonyms words also.
