The page and the title of the post is the crucial factor. CTR varies hugely between posts. However, the ones that are written with the most catchy titles get good traffic no matter how many groups we publicize the post in.

You will need this first. - TRAFFIC.

Focus on getting traffic and everything else will fall in line.

I have now started a different website in the education niche (MBA) and I got 2000 unique visitors today (not paid) on the second day of the website. Nearly all the traffic came from Facebook with some from Reddit and a small amount from Google, although they may have been bots.

For this, I found a facebook group where my prospective customers interact and befriended the admin. He allowed me to share the posts on his group and now I have a market ready to listen to my articles.

Today, I earned 3$ from the new website. Insignificant but will grow with time.

2. Don't add too many friends too fast. You are building a business, not a get rich quick scheme. Build some authority first.

No, never came across face recognition problem with my real account. I did try a viral site with a fake account and faced the problem in about 10 days. Worst part was that there were no faces in the face recognition part

1) About a 1000, but I do not post the articles on my timeline so this question is not valid.
2) 1. My actual real facebook account.
3) Only 1 account. Only 1 big group that I own. Other 5-6 groups who don't mind my articles as they are relevant and as I am friends with the admins
4) I believe in short term (first 1 hour), the groups bring more traffic. After that, as shares increase, traffic flows in from individual and other page timelines. CTR from the page itself is not that great. It is very good, but nothing compared to what I get from groups and shares from the groups. There are some exceptions. Articles that go viral. These always always go viral from the page.

Tried Amazon... sucks

I am using VPS 1 managed SSD plan by Knownhost.

I have had a time when there were 1300 users online at one time and the server sustained the load

But then my theme is light weight. With a heavy theme, it breaks down at this traffic.
