In my opinion the unique and up-to-date information is the main thing there. You should scroll overe the best blogs in your niche and make better. Also try to negotiate/buy some kind of ads on these blogs.

I can't emphasize this enough: Build your blog around EXISTING DEMAND

Don't fall for the trap of 'Build it and they will come'

Your idea might be awesome ........ to you

But unless you're SURE there's a MARKET for it, you might just be wasting your time.

Reverse engineer your competition and DISTINGUISH yourself.

This way, you build on their strengths and AVOID their weaknesses.

Original and quality content is really important. If you want to have a successful blog, you need to have quality content in it. You can't go around (auto) spinning articles and make the blog look all sloppy. After you have your content, you can work from there. You should research about writing a niche article or get them ghost written.
