Driving More Adult Traffic No Conversions

Hi there,
I know the title of this post is quite a typical situation in the adult marketing community but this --> is a little rough for me. Very proud of myself as I managed to get my first day of over 10k uniques! A very big achievement in my eyes, laugh if you must. I actually ended up with about 12.6k and got these 461 uniques on my ads. The traffic is all real, definitely, unless --unbeknownst to me someone is sending bot traffic to my site (they aren't). I won't disclose the source but it's not organic and it is targeted, not paid either. I am a little confused because on two separate occasions on days where my site got <200 uniques I made $35 sign up sales. Any advice is much appreciated. Also, I have almost the whole ad library for Crakrev in my ad program set to appear randomly at relatively even intervals. I have tried it with just very specific ads as well, with no real difference in outcome. Thank you so much for your time and I look forward to any advice and/or talking shit to me you can offer. If you are sure that your traffic is targeted, then either it was just a bad day or you may want to experiment with the landing page to convert better. But since you mentioned you got 2 sales with much less traffic earlier, I would wait few days and test further before taking action.

I don't know much about your site or landing page. But you could install analytics and see what your visitors do on your website. In adult, you need a lot of different data to test before you go on to make $$$. Good luck and hope you make more.

Keep experimenting buddy, to be honest to make serious money in the adult niche you need serious amounts of traffic, pron can be gotten for free and pretty much everyone knows this so its hard to get sales, especially with low traffic numbers.

Thanks for the advice everyone, I appreciate it. And I kinda figured that Hawkster, if I wanted to pay my bills and live a comfortable life because of this I would most likely need 100k+ uniques daily with good conversions. I just feel like I "have mah dick in mah hand." (No pun intended) with life and specifically with my career (or lack thereof). I'm just tired of working so very hard to see little to no return. However, I am proud of myself for achieving a goal I set, driving more than 10k people in a day to a site with no money spent directly. I'll keep trying thanks again everyone.

I have this problem also, well, honestly I just started with CR...
Yesterday I was working on my website and removed many offers because my number of visits to site dropped sharply yesterday, I think I got Google angry, so I threw out a lot.
Anyway, testing a variety of options, so we'll see, it takes time and a lot of testing of different variants and the result will get in time.

Is the number of ads is a factor in how well you rank? Well, I mean if they're cluttering up the place I guess that makes sense actually. I just use 'ad insterter' plugin for WP and put |rotate| between each line of ad code so there's only two places ads display, but a variety of genres of adult material. I wish you luck too! I really saw potential with those two 35$ days I had with almost no traffic now I'm just confused. Never give up though! Cheers.

That really depends on what you consider "serious money." You don't have to get sales to make money...


@thatslife - In my experience with CrakRevenue for the past 10 months or so... a lot of the "uniques" were always inflated. If Crak says you have 450 uniques.. you really only have 150-250. I ran a test for 6 days where every day I would alternate between Crak and another network. Every single day Crak was always roughly 2x what it showed on the other. Associates of mine have seen the same thing. We never really got a clear answer why... but I think it could be based on the geo routing they do.

Which kind of offers are you promoting? PPS is really difficult to convert.

Also, side note, I have $87 and change sitting there and while that's nothing to me, it just stares back at me mocking me haha. And to address what "big money" would be to me, it would be enough to know I'll be able to pay all my bills for 6 months, all accrued in 1 month. Everything I love to do for fun is free. I'm an odd case of materialist, where the only reason I want money is to win back my freedom of lifestyle. I digress.. a LOT. Cheers.

Instead of hitting reply, make sure to hit the "Reply with Quote" button on the bottom right. This makes it easier to know who you are addressing. CrakRev is a legitimate business. They pay NET30. I have just found much better options elsewhere. Depends on your needs. Nothing wrong with testing out new outlets. I was that way at first too. It'll be fine. Most I have signed into once and never returned. Once you get a feel of what you need it will be smooth sailing. Affiliate Marketing is ALWAYS about tests... because no two days are ever the same. I go from .40epc one day down to .08 the next. Don't get discouraged.

There are tons of free porn sites so it's really difficult to convert PPS. I read that 1/700 it's okay for PPS, so your ratios are normal.

I'm newbi, so my advices won't be the best but try to mix PPL and PPS. If you dont make any money with PPL its because your traffic is not targeted. I'm having 600 UV (you are close to that) per day and I'm making around 10$/day which is not much but it's a start! My lucky day I made 54$!

I am only a month into this, otherwise I am since 2011 in the adult world, but a month ago I decided to go on a journey with "gifs site" and a lot of information, and everything was ok until yesterday, traffic went down, why?
I do not know, I really do not have much ads on the site, I do not have a lot of banners, almost every other day I remove something new, if I continue like this I will not have any advertising on the site lol
I wish I had a team of people around me, at least to exchange ideas and talk about different things on which we can work togheter, it is much easier to work in the team.

First and foremost, congrats on receiving over 10k visitors to your site. That's a wonderful start!

But as you mentioned - from this number, 461 uniques were sent to ad offers. Remember, this is CPA and not PPC -- a user must perform an action for you to earn a commission. Traffic < 500 is just not conclusionary or indicative of the success of any 1 CPA offer.

As you said, you generated two $35 sales with us with far less traffic another day...

You also mention this:

if 461 uniques are being divided between 7 offers, you have even less data to go off of to gauge any one offer.

If the traffic was evenly divided & distributed (though probably not the case) that would be just 65 hits/per offer.

If BrokenTeens is what generated you the 2 PPS sales on less than 200 uniques, I'd recommend ramping traffic up to this offer and purely focusing on this one for a couple weeks. This one may be the one your traffic responds best to -- who knows? You still need more data to go off of, but this is a great start. :thumb:

You're right maybe I'll switch to BrokenTeens 100% I never thought of it that way. I'm just encouraged and excited that I got $35 TWICE. If I had 100k+ uniques a day I might be able to make a living one day!! I am excited, and like I said I have nothing bad to say about CR.
