As much as needed. I would do a day of research on the sites and groups along with items you can get at a good price. Once you have some ideas of what should sell now start your testing. The beauty is you can post an ad to see if people will buy the item without having to spend money on inventory yet. This would be the testing faze just to feel out that market. When you find items that work now go ahead and purchase them to sell.
