Amazon Authority Website Journey to € 1000 a Day - 100% Outsourced

Yes, all contents are created to promote products :)
I've an average of 4/5 products per review, are a lot but from my data I see that people want to compare products!

Your 3rd question doesn't make sense :) If you and I were in the same niche definitely we would earn different amounts of money.
I've my methods and with it I can earn more or less in the same niche.

In addition to this, you need to do a survey of the area and understand if people are spending more in cat or dog products!

my third question, to be more precise: what do you think will work: narrow niche (dog) or broad niche (pet)?

There really isn't a right or wrong answer to this question. It's something only you can decide.

You should be doing a LOT of keyword research.

A narrow niche, would definitely be quicker than making a broad niche. It would require a lot less content.

A broad niche could be transformed in to an authority site, which will definitely be more lucrative but obviously requires a lot more work and will take far longer.

If you've found keywords that you deem very rankable in the broader topics, of which that you have enough to create content then it's definitely worth doing. Otherwise, pick the narrow niche.

Like I said, there's no right or wrong, it depends on your research and ability.

Awesome thread. I too am a firm believer in the silo structure of sites. Ranking for a wide variety of relevant keywords to your money keyword always provides great results and drives great traffic. Best of luck!

@arganrecords: Awesome work so far! You're pretty close to hitting the ? 100 mark. Quite impressive in the short amount of time you've been working on this.

May have to revisit this..I tried and failed with Amazon but this shit here looks pretty good.

My way to work makes me follow a broad niche. It's always a long term project that will give fruits after 6 - 12 months but will bring a lot of experience and money.
A broad niche website is powerful because, if the Silo structure is proper, website's theme will be clearer :)

Yeah, the only downside is the amount of time it takes, but when it starts to go up creates a steady source of income

A lot of patience and a lot of people who on this website! Alone I would not have ever done to make this happen :D

Go for it, I failed a lot before find the right way of doing things!

You told that you promote 4/5 products per review. So I think for every Low Keyword (17 - 35 on Moz) which you select, you will compare the 4/5 products or write about What factors to look in particular type of product. I mean your post is product comparison or information post?

thank you, that's exactly what I'm looking for

I'm using both post formats, reviews and informative contents.
Sometime I mix this formats to test (I'm always in testing mode and I'll apply every new idea that comes to mind to improve the conversion rate).

I'm also making split tests with image dimensions to know what attracts better user's attention.
There aren't rules here, test and learn because what works for me may not work for you (different niches, different audiences, different approach and so on) :)

Today is a record day! MY organic traffic it's like:

The site is making further progress but we are still at the beginning. I think all this traffic is just the tip of the iceberg :)
I am creating many backlinks to the root of my domain, so all contents can benefit from the link juice and in fact all the contents are rising gradually in SERPs.

What's my next step?
Well, my next step is analyze other ways to build backlinks because only guest posts/social sites/video sites/web 2.0 it's limited to me.
My new silo chages (explained in previous posts with Macro Categories) are working fine and rich snippets are doing a great job!

In the next days/weeks/months I will continue to build backlinks on quality/new websites to spead my website all around the internet.

I'm working really hard and my Guest Posting copywriter is in full throttle mode, maybe I will hire another one because there is much work to do :)

For the manu have you tried the WordPress native menu builder? You can do that menu without problems manually :)
Yeah go for the same website and expand it. If your slo structure is proper you'll make stronger the theme of your website (shavers) and you'll rank better for all the long tails in your content (since your main theme is strong) :)

I'll try. For backlinks you could try Links Authority it's a "free" PBN network, they don't allow foreign language articles, but they allow foreign keywords, anchors texts and domains ;)
"free" because you have to buy quota or submit a website with PR and get free quota forever(for PR3 website they gave me 2 daily quota)

Hi,

I have a very noob question. I'd like to make a website (Already registered the domain) where I can do e-commerce. I would like to sell work from artists on my website, and I would get a small percentage from the sales. This is my goal. Can anyone please point me in the right direction?

I'm using high quality buttons but I'm making a lot of tests to improve my conversions, so test it and change if aren't working well as buttons used before on your website.

I see this all the time from experienced website developers. How exactly do you test your buttons/images? I want to start testing to see what works the best, but how would I go about testing it? This probably confuses me the most when people say this. What I'm asking might not even make sense, that's how confusing it is to me when people say to test and split test.

How do you deem a button more successful over the other?

Because say for example button 1 in 1 hour gets 100 impressions, 20 clicks, that's a 20% CTR.
Button 2 in 1 hour gets 25 impressions, 20 clicks giving a 80% CTR.
From a glance Button 2 is the way to go, but what about the next 75 impressions on button 2? The next 75 impressions could get 0 clicks resulting in a overall 20% CTR just like Button 1.
However giving Button 2 another hour to see it's clicks will result in inaccurate data because now Button 2 has 2 hours of test time, while button 1 has only had one hour.
I feel like I'm just over complicating it way too much.

If you don't understand where I'm coming from let me know and I'll try my best to clarify.

Hey OP, this is a really good journey. I just have some questions about it. Do you have a few pages that target high monthly searches with a lot of articles that target low search long tail keywords? And also, how do you feel about competing against big review sites that seem to be in every major product keyword?

Sorry, I can help you only with Amazon affiliate :)

Well, your data can't consider only 1 hour. I'm always making decisions on weekly/monthly data because are accurate and can't lie a lot.
You can also use heatmap software to see what attracts user's attention (buttons, text links, images etc).

I'm targeting all kind of search volume keywords. I've 5K+ and 210 too :)
I don't have a precise scheme for this, I'm only analyzing the competition and if is low I'll go for it (Moz + Manual).

Competing against big review sites? Here in Italy major competitors in my niche are only price comparators, original brand manufacturers and Amazon of course :)
Your skills must also be to select a niche with the best opportunities, low competition and best commissions

Okay I see what you mean. But when do you feel comfortable with setting text links/images/buttons in stone? Or are you always testing different stuff even if you have good success with 1 layout

"Success" in conversions is when you improve your exsisting setup :)
So, I'll track my "random" setupX for 1 week and I'll analize all data.

After that I'll test another setupY and after another week, if this is better, I'll try to refine it with split testing.
I'm feeling confortable when I can improve my conversion rate after optimization :)

The more you test the more you can improve because you'll know your user's habits

Great journey you got here! I am setting up to try some CB keywords and if i can get success with one site, i will scale to 10+ sites. I know these take time but it will pay off a year down the road! Thanks for keeping this thread updated with your efforts towards the 1000 per day! I see it happening for you.

Cheers

Cool, thanks for the in depth response. I'm looking to get into building an amazon site. I'll be targeting my home country like you (not US) and hopefully can use your journey to emulate your success

Hey Guys,

first of all I wanted to say great journey man I already learnd alot and you motivated me to start my first amazon site wish me luck with that one :).
I think you definetly will reach your goal! Wish you the best of luck.

I've got a question about the Google Keyword Planner Tool.
Yesterday I looked up some keywords for my Amazon Site.
So I picked out the keywords I want to use and wrote down the average monthly searches and the high peak on november and december.

Today I checked those keywords again and saw a significant drop in the overall search volume of the keywords.
For example one keyword had yesterday like "5k" average searches per month and today google keyword planner says "30" searches per month.

How is that possible? Has someone experienced something similiar aswell?

I hope someone could explain this to me because this is totally confusing me.

Thanks in advance

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the answer.

I found out what the issue was. I selected the wrong filter. There is an option where you can select Google or Google and search partners.

So keep in mind always select the right filter or you get different search volume which can lead to wrong decision making!
