Please do not waste your money on a Mac, if you have been using Windows for 6 years, you will HATE the Mac OS... Its all different and weird. Just buy another PC instead, saves you a lot of money.

My comp is like 6 years old. I have always used windows but have been thinking of getting iMac since I have iPhone and iPad. Plus everyone I talk to that has them love them. are they worth it? 3k. Also are they good for IM?

just run vmware with your mac and your good to go
