How to get engagement up?

Recently on one of my alt accounts (10K humor niche) engagement has gone to shit.

My other account in the same niche and almost same followers gets 600+ likes per picture but this one only gets around 200/picture :/

Does anyone have any methods to increase this ratio? maybe what time to post etc.

Compare your two pages and see what you do differently (comments/posting time etc.). Look to see the point of decline in your account which has 'gone to shit' and that may lead you to what has gone wrong. Tell me our pages and I'll have a look if you'd like?

I own a account in the funny/retable/comedy nice with 91.7k followers and what I do is I write a caption then ask my followers a question about the picture and then say "double tap if you agree" or something like this, most of the time it works and sometimes its like whatever to them.

The thing is that these accounts are pretty much mirrors, only different content but same post-time etc.

You consider 900 likes per picture on 91k account working?) Sorry, but that's no better than the stuff described above. How did you grow your account?

I never said mine was better I just read the forum and decided to tell what I know and I use the follow method and I like pictures from to time and I do things manually, I use instagram as a hobby so it is nothing serious.

You can always boost engagement metrics with proper private ips and bots engaging on your posts. For what it sounds like, your content quality is either scrapped from bigger pages or funny entertainment sites (and you blast with cpa or amazon offers hoping for conversions) or your current fans are just not interested in your content at all on the declined page.

I haven't monetized whatsoever, and yes i do occasionally take OLD content from bigger pages.

I'm looking for real followers to be able to monetize not fake stats.

The fake stats will help boost your reach to real followers. I use fake stats to use a social authority effect, more people posting positively about my pages makes others think its news worthy to share. If you can't see value in this, then use FB post reach ads to increase engagement. The problem just simply sound likes a content issue, so merely fixing this and timing your posts might help boost engagement without fake metric boosts.

go to iconosquare.com, sign in with IG then check your media. You can see which are your most liked pics as well as which are your most commented ones. Base your future posts on that information and see if anything improves.

When my accounts reach 10k followers I'm gonna do this. This way I'll have built up many posts and will know how to improve further.
