Nice journey bro, i noticed you said in your last post that you will be building links manually and slowly for the next couple of months, may i know if this links you are building will go straight to your root domain or are you building to your inner pages to improve the ranking of your articles. if the later is the case, how then are you planning to do that much link building for so many articles on your site?
Am also building most of my sites at the moment, though i haven't been in the top pages of the serp for my articles yet, but can you share with us all your on-page seo that helps you rank without link building in most of your articles. i used some knowledge from your keyword research methods and i have a couple of 100+ low comp.keywords i want to write on but i need to be careful since am outsourcing most of the writing... it wouldn't be wise to spend that much on articles without ROI.
You need to provide backlinks for the root of your domain as for your inner pages.
That said I can't do backlinks for 150 articles now and 2000 artiles then because this will be unnatural and really spammy (as well as impossible without the use of poor quality backlinks).
The goal is to create an authoritative site that Google can recognize as that to give priority in SERPs without many backlinks on inner pages (the Amazon's case).
So I'm building backlinks to the root of the domain and few for most important inner pages, by the time all the inner pages will receive the juice of the homepage (thanks to the technique of the silo) and all content will benefit it!
What methods do you use fir inbound links?
I'm using Siloing method to interlink all contents.
Here's what I'm using (as stated in
Bruce Clay guide on Silo):
For example, let's say you want to create a virtual silo for crunchy peanut butter using the following five crunchy peanut butter pages as support pages:
Peanutbuttersite.com/crunchy/superchunk.html
Peanutbuttersite.com/crunchy/lowfat.html
Peanutbuttersite.com/crunchy/organic.html
Peanutbuttersite.com/crunchy/jellyhybrid.html
Peanutbuttersite.com/crunchy/almond.html
To create the virtual silo, all five pages would link to the crunchy peanut butter landing page. This tells the search engines that these pages are related to and support the topic presented in the landing page. Each page should then also include a link to every other support page in the virtual silo. In this case, each support page would link to the four other support pages of the silo. The easiest way to do this is to include navigation on the page to link the pages together, essentially creating a category-sitemap on the page.
