Amazon Authority Website Journey to € 1000 a Day - 100% Outsourced

Hourly rate isn't a good calculation or indicator for amazon review sites.

They are hands-off automated income once they're up. Any maintenance tasks can be handled by staff. Review sites are more like owning a business than being a freelancer. ROI is a sensible calculation though.

I think it depends on how you create and manage these sites. Because if you manage (= write content and perhaps do SEO) yourself, it's indeed sensible to calculate hourly rate you're getting and see if it's worth it. That, in essence, is calculating return (affiliate commissions) for your investment (time it takes to create content).

Of course, if you're outsourcing everything it costs you money rather than time. Then ROI can be calculated from how much money you're using and how much affiliate commissions you're making.

Great man ! I have a question? We want to have good articles for our site but how can we give ideas for copywriter?, they would like to ideas for your articles.

Really smart question :)
To discover commercial keywords I'm using SemRush reports as in the image here below

attachment.php

So, this is the screen for all keywords in the SemRush database containing the word "cheap".
Now you need to filter them and select your topic. Then with Moz you can calculate the competition and you've easy and fresh keywords to rank for :)

How much have you spent on outsourcing everything so far? I'm thinking of hiring a couple of freelance writers for my site but I'm unsure about how much I should pay.

It makes little sense answer you with a figure because you have to consider some important aspects (the figure does not tell you anything, so I prefer to explain how I calculate profit).

If you buy articles this will remain forever in your blog/website, then this will also produce income even in next 2 or 10 years.
We can say that you can make a calculation based on what you'll earn with every single article.

To do it you need some data because depends on the product's type, commissions and conversion rate.
My advice is to begin to invest in content to test the waters, get the data, and multiply all over the long term (by making a statistical prediction of earnings in the coming months and years)!

So, as you can read there isn't universal answer on how much you should pay, you need the data to make calculations of your ROI in the long run :)

Day 13
Google Traffic: 249 UV
Earnings: € 16,61 (orders are close to doubling lol)
Total Articles: 164 (+4)

Traffic and earnings are stabilizing and the flow is fairly regular from 3 days.
Today I created some backlinks in popular articles on Yahoo answers and in some topic related forums, answering questions from users.

I'm noticing that many users return to the site, this means that the contents are really helpful. For this I can expect an increase of clicks and conversions.
Until now the situation is quite stable but in the next few days I'm sure there will be a net increase in traffic, so I will continue to create a lot of backlinks for the next 2/3 months (follow and no follow).

Hey, thank you for the great journey the outsourcing tips are very useful to noobs such as myself. Cheers :clap2:

Nice journey bro, i noticed you said in your last post that you will be building links manually and slowly for the next couple of months, may i know if this links you are building will go straight to your root domain or are you building to your inner pages to improve the ranking of your articles. if the later is the case, how then are you planning to do that much link building for so many articles on your site?

Am also building most of my sites at the moment, though i haven't been in the top pages of the serp for my articles yet, but can you share with us all your on-page seo that helps you rank without link building in most of your articles. i used some knowledge from your keyword research methods and i have a couple of 100+ low comp.keywords i want to write on but i need to be careful since am outsourcing most of the writing... it wouldn't be wise to spend that much on articles without ROI.

You need to provide backlinks for the root of your domain as for your inner pages.
That said I can't do backlinks for 150 articles now and 2000 artiles then because this will be unnatural and really spammy (as well as impossible without the use of poor quality backlinks).

The goal is to create an authoritative site that Google can recognize as that to give priority in SERPs without many backlinks on inner pages (the Amazon's case).
So I'm building backlinks to the root of the domain and few for most important inner pages, by the time all the inner pages will receive the juice of the homepage (thanks to the technique of the silo) and all content will benefit it!

What methods do you use fir inbound links?
I'm using Siloing method to interlink all contents.

Here's what I'm using (as stated in Bruce Clay guide on Silo):

For example, let's say you want to create a virtual silo for crunchy peanut butter using the following five crunchy peanut butter pages as support pages:

Peanutbuttersite.com/crunchy/superchunk.html
Peanutbuttersite.com/crunchy/lowfat.html
Peanutbuttersite.com/crunchy/organic.html
Peanutbuttersite.com/crunchy/jellyhybrid.html
Peanutbuttersite.com/crunchy/almond.html

To create the virtual silo, all five pages would link to the crunchy peanut butter landing page. This tells the search engines that these pages are related to and support the topic presented in the landing page. Each page should then also include a link to every other support page in the virtual silo. In this case, each support page would link to the four other support pages of the silo. The easiest way to do this is to include navigation on the page to link the pages together, essentially creating a category-sitemap on the page.

Exemplary post, thank you for this basic yet informative post that not many folks here observe carefully.

Should I begin an Amazon journey, I might pm you for suggestions and opinions, kindly guide me by then!

Please do not PM, share your questions here so all BHW members can benefit :)

Good going argan. Like the way you work on your content everyday with dedication. Wish i could push myself to write as many articles as you do. It would be helpful for me if you can speak about your link building. I find link building quite tough. Writing articles for web 2.0's is quite tough too. Whats your take on it ?

I'm outsourcing all, so I'm buying people's time and I never write a single word of content :)
For link building my advices is doing interviews to influencers in your niche, contacting webmaster sharing your useful content and follow people on Socials to get social "relationshop".

I think this guide is really good to help you to get ideas for link building.

hello argan, how much do you pay your writers for 1 article?

I pay from 2 to 7 € every 500 words :)
Really depends from content quality. Few copywriters are good and few are less good.

Day 14
Google Traffic: 247 UV (-2)
Earnings: € 19,97
Total Articles: 176 (+12)

Today I worked two hours to the site, I have published 12 articles and I have optimized it.
I managed to create new backlinks on niche related forums as usual, answering their questions and providing value.

Can take few weeks to see the effects of this backlinks but, if I will never stop, I will see big positive changes in rankings.
Here's an example of the targeted keywords (this are related to contents published few hours ago and have been checked for the first time).

attachment.php

I'm targeting low competition and low traffic volume keywords but in few weeks I will start to target high volume keywords (I've editorial plan and a list of hundreds of content).
When my website will gain trust I will start to push high search volume contents :)

How long on average does it take for your website to earn the trust? Also would you be willing to tell us how much the average price of your products on amazon?

Well I don't know how many takes, I'm doing this journey just because it is my first Big site (over 50 pages).
But I'm noticing that's going, because the traffic increases abruptly just rungs of the ladder.

Products that I'm advertising are from 20 € to 150-200 € on average.
But if I find 2 € profitable product (low competition and interesting search volume) I will make a content about it without problems :)

Here's something about Amazon's commissions here in Italy.
