If you marry a rich woman you can avoid paying tax, however you will probably die an early death and not enjoy spending her cash.

Inidentally Death and breakdown of the physical body is just an illusion

You'll just end up paying tax elsewhere.

There's two things in this world you can't avoid. Tax and death. You can postpone and dodge them for a bit, but they'll catch up with you somewhere at some point.

Sorry for hijecking thread, societygirl I've sent you PM. Please respond!

Not really, depending on how your income is made you can legally minimize it a ton. And if you're a young guy who doesn't mind living in 2 countries, you can pay zero tax. Real estate tax is the one you can't really avoid (at least, not to my knowledge).

theres way bypass them completely but no one will tell you that on a clearnet site plus it takes some to do it, but yea USA is not the same country and FATCA being the biggest reason why a lot of people are renouncing US citizenships. Eduardo Saverin renounced his citizenship thats a huge indicator on whats really going on

I wish there was a way for me to get a USA passport.

You can always get papers if you have money. USA has a green card program for big investments, Malta just opened a residency program (will cost you north of 500k in forced investments) but you don't have to live there to get it.

Do you mind giving us an example of how that might get played out?How is it possible to pay little to zero tax if you are a USA citizen? To my understanding, USA is the only country in the world where you get taxed globally. Also, isn't it illegal to renounce your USA citizenship for reasons of avoiding paying debt or taxes?

Ah, I'm not a US citizen and he said he's gonna rennouce his US citizenship. Also, US is not the only country in the world that taxes global income. To answer your question, in the EU it has to do with residency. You are consider a resident (and thus have to pay taxes) if you stay X days (usually up to 6 months, depending on the country) in a country. It's not THAT simple (there are some other rules thart have to do with your income stream and real estate), but for the details you get to ask a consultant that specialized in those things in your target country.

Property taxes isn't that bad in many locations its just a few that are really bad. In some cities in NY a person with a $500,000 home can pay close to $15,000 a year in taxes.

Real Estate taxes are some of the best taxes in terms of tax breaks.
Also, the problem is most people don't set up corporations for themselves. Your taxes will look much differently thereafter.
