[Method] Amazon to eBay Drop-shipping Done Right! Spoon Fed! *Long/Detailed*

Thanks for the method, already busy implementing it and sold a few items.

I do notice that I have to enter a phone number when entering in the buyer's address on Amazon, do you just use a random one or your own?

First off; I would like to thank you for posting this method. I love it, and I'm going to get started right away.

A couple of questions that I would love to have answers to, if you will:
-Do you use any apps/websites/software to track and monitor price changes on Amazon listings? My biggest fear is the price going up and making a sale in my store, only to find out that my listing won't make me any money (or could potentially cost me). This could be circumvented by being notified immediately when one of my chosen Amazon products has a price change upwards or downwards.
-The "scale" of your store and the items you chose nets you around $2000 a month for an hour of work a day (If I recall correctly from your original post). Theoretically, would scaling this up around 3 times to potentially make $6000 a month take around 3-4 hours a day (probably a little more due to keeping up with price changes and listing maintenance)?

Thank you in advance. I'm going to start choosing and thinking of items to dropship. I cannot wait to get started.

I've never used any software, tools or websites. While they may show the largest price margins, they don't tell you if those items will actually sell. Additionally, they have no idea which items are just temporarily on sale. I could continue, but you get the point. IMO no program or tool can make the profit I do with so little listings. Doing everything manually helps you understand what sells and what doesn't on eBay.

With that said, yes you are correct. Spending triple the amount of time with this would yield more $$$, which is exactly what I do in the summer when I am away from school.

My own.

Great thread, OP. It motivated me and I started selling things on eBay using Amazon. The problem now is, that i have sold 3 items in the last 2 days, but at the moment I don't have enough money in the debit card. It will take about 2 or 3 days more to get the money in the card. I have listed the items with fast 2 day free shipping. Would it be a problem if I contact the buyers and tell them, that it will take 2 extra days for delivery because of delay with the supplier?

You could always try. Just tell them you can refund now if they prefer that instead. As long as you communicate often you should be okay.

Really need a hint on what items to look for.

You need to do your research man. There's not a specific type of item or price range to look for. OP said he knows what sells simply because he's listed so many items. You need to do your own research, list items, relist the ones that sell and drop the ones that don't. Sometimes I have spent hours researching items to sell and only came up with 1 or 2 things. It takes time.

Can anyone help me? I have an account from 2012, with 100% feedback and I was stuck on 10 items per month till my friend helped me with the "raise your limits with another ebay account" so now I'm at 30 items per month. Do I have to wait like 5 years to get 100 items per month?

My limits went up with only a week or two of selling each time. So it won't take long to get to the max amount for your non-subscription selling account.

Hi there.

I followed this method and listed a couple of items. After 3 or 4 days ebay suspended my account. The reason why I do believe they did this is because I'm outside of US and they are trying to be extra cautious.

Should I start using an US IP or any other cloaking system ?

If someone from outside the US did manage to flip it, can you please help me out on this one :D

Cheers

i have the same question, can any of you guys help with it? :typing:

I have been looking at this thread for some time now, and as a non-US resident the only problem I've encountered so far is:

How do I deal with customers that want to return the product?

I can make a US Paypal / Ebay / Amazon account, but I don't have a US address people can return goods to? Is there any way to bypass the returning of goods? I am afraid there isn't, but asking can't hurt... :)

same issue with artty..
how would I handle returns in case something happens if I'm non-US?

Guys, I think it's something like that: you write Amazon, that you want to return the product and then they give you an address. Then you just give this address to the customer.

Won't they send it to the ebay address you submitted?

It might work if your Ebay address is similar to the Amazon return address? But still, that would raise some red flags if it'd be me returning the product :D.

Theres literally hundreds of excuses you can use for these type of situations.

I will look into it tomorrow :). Would have done it today, but got a flight to catch... :D

Thanks!

Do you just copy/paste the features and description from Amazon, then add a few things, or do you write a original description and just take the features from amazon plus other places? Also if you write your own do you write it like you are trying to advertise it, or do you use more of a descriptive tone.

I have been doing this for about a month and I had around 30 items up in various categories. I made 5 sales but almost no profit because I lowered my margins so I can build some feedback. I am wondering if this is because I was taking the descriptions from amazon.

Thanks.

This is fully explained in the original post. Please read it all before posting questions. The items are returned to Amazon... You are never supposed to come in contact with the items. If they want a return. You have them return to Amazon.

I explained this to other users, but if you do not understand how different features work on eBay, like the return of items, then you shouldn't be using this method. There is absolutely no reason you should start a new method if you haven't read everything you possibly can beforehand. Please research how returning items works on eBay, from there you will understand where returns are sent and why.

That's exactly how it works.

I use the Amazon listing description. Your issue is that you only have 30 items listed. Once your limits are higher, things will get easier. Just stay patient.

Seems like you didn't read this from the first post, "*Disclaimer* - I am from the United States and all of this information is based on this location alone. I have no knowledge of this working elsewhere, although I'm sure someone can confirm if it is possible or not. "
