Not sure where to ask this question but:

On Firefox my website shows on page one (about number5) but if I search on Chrome or safari it's on page 2?

Anyone know why?

Are you using the same seach engine in all these browsers? From what I know Firefox uses Bing as default

Sometimes its happens dude. You can check the page rank in kproxy.com website. It will show you which one is correct(Firefox or chrome&safari).

this is cookies problem first delete cookies in Mozilla after check it

Are you logged into your Google account in either browser? Cleared your cache and cookies?

There's a ton of ways that Google personalizes your search results depending on what information they have about you.

Hey thanx for the replies.

Yes i've cleared all cookies and log outs etc. And did searches on mutliple ipads and pcs.

All search results on ALL browsers were on page 2 , but then I did a little SEO (blogged, shared, added to local directories, added to mapmaker etc) checked back 48hrs later and firefox search (using google) jumped to page 1, but safari and chrome stayed the same.

Could it be it takes longer for those browsers to update? (though i don't understand why it would matter if i'm using google as the search engine)

Thanx for the replies.

do you use goole.fr e.g and safari IE uses google.com there is different between google local sites
