Why my FB budget burns so quickly?

Hey guys,

When i set up my FB ads i set usually the lowest CPC - 0,01 even when FB is telling me that he wont shows my ads.

But when i set budget 1 EUR for 24 hours my budget is gone after one hour !

What should i do?

What countries are you targeting?

Its best to start your campaigns 5-10 min. after midnight (according to the timezone your account is on) then it should spend evenly through the day (you can use scheduler to make it start).

Otherwise, just let it run. It might do that on day 1... it will be fine by day 2-3.

WHen you are biding on CPC FB will suggest you a bid price. As Nut-Nights said, keep your cpc in mid range. When you set budget 1 EUR for 24 hours then the budget is gone in one hour because may be your ads are serving as CPM not CPC.

But why if i set the lowest cpc? I am targeting small country where these prices are low

If suggested cpc is 0,04 and i set to 0,02 it will burn even more quickly or not?

CPC is not always a good option, see the CPA or oCPM.

This all depends on the prices you are willing to pay and the country/people you are targeting. Of course the bigger the country is the less the cost the more the people. The smaller the country or area the more the cost the less the people.

As per my experience it will good if if the suggested cpc is 0.04 and you set to 0.02 but its not going to show more quickly than 0.04

you might be in a niche where it can provide all the views very fast, to finish 1E in 1 hour is not that fast...and besides why do you care if you get the views within an hour or the same amount of views in 24hours?

Why does it concern you? If you set your bid to 0.01 and fb still burns your budget, it means that you are getting the 100 engagements that you paid for...

Facebook won't spread out your ads so they span exactly 24 hours.

if you burned thru your budget in 1 hour, it sounds like your ad targeting wasn't very specific. Try targeting only likely buyers in your market.
