One day or another Instagram will unfortunately win this war against BOTS, which IG is already winning like 10000:0
They keep doing updates that f*ck up some features of FollowLiker, maybe Mega Bot too (I don't know if someone's getting problem commeting and following with MB).

With new updates, FL is not worth more than 2$ in MY opinion, liking manually makes you grow actually very faster than using a bot.
When Instagram will finally make it to the "Ultimate Bot-F*cker Update", maybe there will be new bots with new stuff which will cost more money....and no one would spend anything on a bot that will be stopped in a couple of month.
So it's inevitable to think that those happy days where we used to do absolutely nothing but our accounts kept growing are going to be only a nice memory

Apparently (and sadly) Instagram's algorithm coders are stronger than any average coder.

Bots will always be around, if IG makes the like limit 10 likes per hour someone will make a bot that does 9 likes per hour.

Its just a numbers game, dont go over the limit.

I totally agree with you asap1, but I also said: "maybe there will be new bots with new stuff which will cost more money....and no one would spend anything on a bot that will be stopped in a couple of month".

Honestly: would you pay even 5$ for a bot than can only do, let's say, "20 likes - 5 comments - 5 follows" per hour? We can do this manually in 1-2 minutes, even on 10 different accounts, and get something like 10000% results.
That's the reason of the topic, bot are slowly dying. Matter of fact. Sadly.

Thats true buddy but i think most people use bots as they are busy on other money making projects. Why spend all day liking, commenting, following when a bot can do it up to the limits while your away doing something else

Automation will never go out. Programmers will simply update the programs. Use everything within limits. Most people don't have time to manually log in to 500 accounts and complete actions.

As an avid coder and a Computer Science Theory student in college, programming bots actually will end eventually. Because technological advances are measured using logistic curves, more advanced technology is able to advance at a faster rate. Obviously, small software firms cannot keep up with the pace of software giants like Google, Facebook, Instagram, etc. Eventually sites like Facebook will be able to detect bot activity without any human interference, and will be able to quote-end-quote code their own code to make themselves better (but not in the way that you'd imagine). Eventually smaller software will catch up but the likes of it will cost a staggering amount of time and resources to keep up the fight, so it'll be interesting to see how IM changes in the coming years.

Instagram bots are as dead as SEO since 2008.

As of today there are kids that can hack nasa, the government etc.

Pretty sure these smart kids or like minded individuals will find a way to bypass whatever facebook or google comes up with in regards to detecting "bot activity".

Nothing will ever be 100% fool proof.

Well, afterall it's almost impossible to bot FB right now (using any comersial bots). Think about that.

I think we should all just get as much out of the bots we have now.

Good thread and interesting replies!

My theory:

At the begining any social media needs BUZZ, so they open APIs, and even they say no bot is allowed..but they close eyes...until they grow

So they need bot acivity at the begining, but now being popular, bots will make user experience crappy, so they will fight till avoid any bot activity.

So yes, I agree..bot is over... (I still can do bot activity with likes, but I decided to stop, I believe that even if you use it, you are out of popular page and you will always be dependant on your bot activity to grow...not good for long run) - sorry for my bad english

cheers

Correct. You also spread the load over loads of accounts. Botting always has risks involved, but you have to adapt (why I make my very own bots!).

You also treat accounts like cheap women - you don't shed a tear when you lose one!

Sorry, but that's BS. Yes, there are algo models that (passively) try to detect pattens, and then stomp on the accounts (which isn't fool proof). I can code a bot that emulates a human being till the cows come home. All you need is to randomize actions just like a normal user, and you'll be fine.

Question here.

If we are doing follow/like, using an app or bot, do Instagram notice differently? If same, we can just slow down, like human does, and we'll be fine. Right?

hmmmm i assume your in adult niche?

Sorry, this is probably one of the few niche I'm not into :)

Nice point Hawkster, probably I was thinking on my own point of view, where instagram is kinda the only free-time earning source

what made you open this thread? did you get banned ? how did you get to this conclusion?

I'm just aware of what's going on around this social-media bots problems, even by just reading around forums and community like BHW. I've never been banned due to bots fails, it's just that everyday bots are more limited than the day before.

Automation will never go out. Programmers will simply update the programs. Use everything within limits. Most people don't have time to manually log in to 500 accounts and complete actions.

Another good point. I'm not the kind of user which owns hundreds of accounts. Probably, running a multiaccount bot on 500 accounts, even if strictly limited, can be considered as "worth the price".

This is basically the intelligent version of what I was trying to say. Thank you.

Do you actually think that people who are skilled enough to hack NASA, .gov, will ever be interested on earning few thousands dollars when they are probably already earning 7 figures from other kinds of IM (legal or not) activities?

So are the bots are not recommended to be bought right now?

Not for me, not if you just own 10-20 accounts, not if you have 1 hour per day to spend doing this manually.
Yes if you own many accounts, yes if instagram is just one of many earning sources, yes if you can't spend even a minute on Social Media Marketing.

I agree, this can be considered as a nice resume

Instagram imposed limits for "outside-instagram" actions (something regarding signed/unsigned calls, tokens, oauth etc.etc.). So they know you're doing it, even if slowly as a human. Still limited, but doing it slow and remaining in the limits will prevent the ban
