I need autoblogg-wordpress help. Im so confused!

I was reading the threads here on autoblogging hoping to learn how to build one but It only left me confused and frustrated.

yes I am aware that you can insert different plugins to display fresh related content to your blog, but I first need to know how to build a wordpress theme.

# anybody have or know of any good wordpress theme builders?

for example I have associated content, but I have no idea on how to implement the dang thing.

I found it's works best to use existing themes shared on wordpress dot org/extend/themes
Many people use it for their WH blogs, so the autoblogs will blends better.

hey thnx for the response.
So anyways I downloaded one of those wordpress themes.
when I open it all I get is a bunch of folders with .php files.

Im sorry for being a noob. its just that .php confuses me.

You need to upload the plugins to /wp-content/plugins
and that theme to /wp-content/themes

Then you can manage them from administration panel (plugin and appearance)

so this would be for any hosting company?(Im asking because I dont have hosting yet)

Of course. Any linux hosting which support PHP script can run wordpress.
And that's how you manage WP blog in general.

Hi Entrepreneur,

Look for a host that has "cpanel". If the host has cpanel then they should have "fantastico" which will help install a WP blog in just a few clicks. I recommend hostgator.

Then you find your admin panel for your blog, here : http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin


For the domain above make sure where it says "your domain" it is your domain name.

Once inside your admin look on the left under "plugins".There should be a link that says "install new". Click that and it will take you to a page that will allow you to install a plug in from your computer.

I also use the plugin "one click plugin updater"- it helps with plugin and theme uploads and also notifies you when there is a new version of a plugin.
