Hey Everyone! I've been reading a lot about people getting banned from Insta lately and just wanted to share/ask a CRUCIAL question. I have been using FollowLiker with no issues and have accumulated approx 15K targerted followers in the past few months over 3 accounts and none banned. I will eventually start monetizing but haven't yet made that jump yet. I'm still getting used to botting Instagram. This is my first jump into IM and it's going okay so far. Okay, my question is: I don't use proxies and I think that's bad/unsafe? Especially worried bc of all the talk about banning lately. I honestly don't even know about proxies enough which is probably the reason I havent implemented them. Can someone explain and point me in the right direction bc I don't want to lose the hard work of building these accounts just because I didnt ask what a proxy is.

TLDR: What is a proxy? how do I get it/them and implement into FollowLiker as well? Step by step would be nice, thank you.

Thanks for the confidence boost. I'm definitely planning on making that jump to monetizing soon! I'm still researching and lurking all over BHW to understand insta monetizing strategies but I'm trying to protect what I'm doing hence the proxy question. All ideas/advice is appreciated!

Hey Blackhattertrick,

Glad to have you on board on this forum. Just wanted to give you some useful information about proxies.

First off, before this week I would tell you 3 proxies per IP address would be fine. Unfortunately like you addressed things are getting tight on IG. Who knows how long this could go on.

Second, I think now that it is a great investment as well as a great idea to invest in proxies. I use 1 proxy per account.

Lastly, here is the provider that I use for proxies. http://www.anonymous-proxies.net/

They are great, they not only have unique proxies guaranteed to only be used by the person buying but they offer a monthly automatic payment system that allows you to basically forget about it and let it run on autopilot.

It is great that you have recognized the new limits instagram has set. As well as great that you want to protect your hard work. Hope that this helps. Good luck!

You cant use proxy on this 3 accounts, you aready used your own IP on this accounts, just get proxy if you want do new accounts.
Dont use more them 3 accounts in your IP.

Forget monetizing, you cannot make money with 5k account. You don't need proxies for running 3 accounts. Only advantage of using proxy would be that if 1 account gets banned it would not take other 2 accounts with it, but your accounts are still small so shouldn't bother to use proxies.

Also i have approx 15K not 5K, so does that change anything b/c you said I cant make money with 5K account, what about 15K? or better yet, what is a good follower count to start monetizing. What is your niche? 15k followers is pretty good count, you should be getting at least 1k+ likes per pic, which means you can monetize it I guess.

I think it is best to use proxies, but one thing that would be suspicious is keeping the account bound to the proxy permanently. I mean no on ever logs into stuff from only 1 IP anymore. My Instagram accounts have been logged into by 10+ IPs already, I mean I had to do occasional verification but with public wifi the way it is, I believe multiple IPs is a good idea.

It depends on the niche, country of your users, and how engaged they are with the content you're uploading.

EG. Some niches you can start making money right away once you hit 5k. With other niches, it require a lot more followers.

Thanks, that seems logical enough. My goal is to reach approximately 30K and then start selling shoutouts. Thoughts on selling shoutouts? or is that an old instagram business model?

around $1/proxy/month, if you purchase only a few, instagram proxies are more expensive usually, but if you purchase more, the per proxy price drops accordingly

as long as using proxies, not sure if it would make sense for these 3 accs, not because they're only 3, but they're already linked together with the same ip from creation and are also managed from the same ip, i'd say, proxies in this case don't make any difference anymore

if you're planning to make more accs, don't do it from the same ip again and that's when proxies become handy, bht pay attention that proxies which can be used for account managing aren't always good for account creation, ask the provider

To say that u can make money from 5k accs is BS, I have used mobile ppi (apps) alot from that you get around 1$/1000follower/day. Sen me a PM and I will give you a nice business model (don't want to write it in public)
