This is the method I've been using since a year now and I want your views too. Here I'm not teaching anything I'm just sharing my techniques to earn via making niche blog.

See the method is really simple. I droved almost 20k+ visitors in a day according to GA.

How I attracted 20k traffic ?

First of I found a Niche or you can say a event/festival etc. You need to find an event on which people search most. I targeted New Year 2015. And I used one of my blog which was already having authority.

I started posting New Year articles before 7-8 days from the event and so I can have little time to buy sitewides links which plays the major role. My goal was to target multiple keywords as if I don't rank for main keyword I can get traffic from other keyword too.

Off Page Optimzing

The main goal was to target multiple keywords so I didn't build any links via commenting and all in fact I used my PBN network and too sitewides before the 2 days of the event and fetched the site so it got indexed.

I took around 10-12 sitewides links from my PBN sites all different keyword targeting. And few more sitewide links with rich anchor text from few more sites having DA 25+ and TF 17+.

On Page Optimizing

I choose Blogger platform so it can handle traffic. (my old site was already on blogger platform as I did many other events too.)

Choosing a theme is difficult so I choose the light weight theme which is designed by my friend.

I changed the site Meta Title to New year and also description to New year and all although the niche of the site was education and domain name was also on education.

I wrote all 500+ words articles so the longer the length of the article the more google will trust you and through you higher in the SERP.

Monetization

Google AdSense

Results

I got highest 695 real time on this event.

You can target any events/festivals as there are lots of events and festivals every year. And as you know the more the targeted traffic -- the more the earnings!

let me know what are your views about event niche blogging :)

I have some festivals around here in mind.. nice tip. I like the idea

yeah there will be many world wide events and country wide events as well. You can try any. Moreover I prefer USA events because it gets high CPC in adsense. Anyways best of luck and do share some events too if possible :)

Nice method, the only bad thing is that the traffic come for just some days then disapear once the event if finished. Your earing is very nice anyway

Thanks.. Yes that's the bad thing that once the event is gone site is no longer used. But u can make a multi niche blog and target all events in one site.. I am now doing the same..

Let me give you a little spin on this method, instead of using blogger and lose all your traffic when the festival is over.

Why not take that money you earned and get yourself a high TF niche festival domain like jazz festivals or rock festivals, or use cities to promote festivals, build 500 postings and sell tickets for those festivals

You can do multiple festivals in multiple cities all year round, you don't need a lot of offsite SEO as your domain has already the authority to rank easily for city festival.

ticketnetwork has a lot of festivals in a lot of cities you can promote

Cool.. nice idea. thanks.. so by promoting city based festivals we can also get affiliate commission right ?

welcome :) sure you can.. best of luck and make $$$$ :) :D

You made that with Google adsense? Do you know any affiliate programs that focus on events?

yes I made all that with google adsense. I used floating ads too. bdw you can always try hosting affiliate sales.. like on black friday i made around 7 sales of hostgator by just posting an article on authority site about "Hostgator Black Friday Sale Coupon" you can do the same. Just find non or less competitive niche..

Thanks, I will try that.

Targeting events and seasonal keywords is a great way to make some money within a relatively short period of time. Google Trends is one one of the best tools for uncovering seasonal keywords which can pay more than just creating an event blog without having any specific keywords to promote it with. Nice share.

Thanks mate :) Yes we can target trending news and the faster we publish the news the more speedily we will rank and gain traffic that too without any backlinks for anything.. here only authority of the site will play an important role..

Very well done, I like your method. How do we know what's a good incoming festival? Not all events woth the shot... What's a good signal that "X" festival worth the try? Thanks

See consider using google keyword planner also every event/festival has at least 1 lakh+ searches doesn't matter if google keyword planner is showing only 5-10k searches. All you need to do is give it a shot.

Personally I target country based events. Like Super Bowl live streaming I targeted, and for now I am working on Brazilian Rio Carnival event. I'd hope you got the idea. All you need to do is find country based events or world wide and rank your site.. eventually you'll end up making at least $200+ for sure if you rank it :)
