7 questions About Bing Ads

Heya guys!

I am sure that at least a few people have the same questions as i did at the start and who knows this might help someone else too!
I just started trying to promote a clickbank health product throught bing ads and i was wondering what i am doing right and what i am doing wrong at the moment.

1. I target only US, UK and Canada as regions.
2. Ad distribution: Both on search and content network. Not sure about content network here?
3. Ad rotation optimize for CTR. Should i try to rotate more evenly at start or stick with the high ctr ones immediatly?
4. Average CPC: one is 0,51 and one is 0,36. Is this too high or quite good?
5. Changing cpc daily: setting it 1 cent above the recommended bid.
6. Spending budget: I tried spreading it through the day, but now i will test spending it as soon as possible.. thoughts?
7. Was trying a squeeze page which didnt seem to get visitors to the landing page so now im trying direct linking.

I think that if i and others fix a bit of this i might get my first sale soon so help us out!

2. The content network is ads displayed on Bing and Yahoo-owned websites (they display like the ads on Adsense websites). The search network displays ads in the SERPs.
3. Do an A/B split test and test ads evenly at first. Once you find out which ad performs the best, do another A/B split test.
4. Bid on the most relevant keyword that is worth your time and money
5. Relevant ads lower the CPC. Make sure your keyword, landing page, and ad copy are relevant to your keywords.
6. Run tests to discover when your target audience is most likely to view and purchase from your ads.
7. Direct linking is a good way to lose money and opportunities. Instead, find out what you did wrong with your squeeze page and try again.

I have a few questions to add if OP does not mind, I don't want to open a new thread for the more or less same questions.

1. Can I go with direct linking at first to see if the product converts, then build my own landing page?

2.There are products that have video presentation and you have to wait 5+ min so the buy it now link appears.
The question is: Should I build landing page or send them directly as they will probably loose interest if they spend 5-10 mi on my landing page then go to the vendor page and need to wait 5+ min more or I should avoid that kind of CB products overall?

Oh my God, people are still trying to make money promoting Clickbank and CPA through BingAds! I don't know ANYONE to have achieve this, the opposite i would say...People that have success with Adwords and PlentyOfFish they broke their faces in BingAds Network with the VERY SAME CAMPAIGNS! Isn't this telling something to you? BingAds traffic does't convert and there is an explanation of this. It faces a very significant "Demographic Problem" as it lucks middle ages traffic, the most productive ages. Their traffic is mainly from minor ages, -18 years old coming mostly from Yahoo and 45+ years old coming mostly from microsoft. Now, the minor ages do not generally buy anything, just surfing, while the older ones they DO have money and shopping, but what to shop from Clickbank and the similar? Crap? Is there ANYTHING over there that you would buy? The solution in my opinion is called Amazon! They DO have money and They DO shop, but real products NOT bullshit! how can you say that bing ads don't work, when they actually do work. And you have lot of success stories here with CB + bing

I don't know what a "prof" is...professor, profession, professional, profile?
Assuming that you meant "proof" i have my own experience...Sent traffic to Clickbank and CPA and got a big ZERO, sent traffic to Amazon and at least make a decent return...
If someone is willing to share his profitable campaigns, feel free to do so...i'll be full of eyes and ears...but i don't know anyone willing to do so and i'm tired of ZERO's...
A word of caution though...I do create my own coupons and send traffic that doesn't cost me a penny! I don't know if my method can be applied if you have to pay hard cash for the traffic.

Bing Ads does work, even with CB I have a profitable campaign right now on it..

1. Yeah with Bing you can generally direct link. As long as the offer page meets their guidelines (no auto playing videos, no exit pops, relevant content, privacy policy and so on just go read them).

2. Make sure the page has text on it and not just a video, a lot of those pages that display a video without a buy now button don't have text on them. You want your offer to be relevant to your ad in order to get a good quality score. I would avoid those at first and focus on something else, later on you can always try them out and see what converts better.

Bing ads is quite the beast. You can test direct linking if you want to see if it 'converts' but to be honest you won't get an accurate depiction until you have a squeeze/landing page. I personally don't like bing ads too much but I know there's people making a killing from it.

Oh, sorry, I was a bit vague on that one.

Well, back when I was running these Bing Ads campaigns, I felt that when I was directly linking using the affiliate link, I would be losing an opportunity to either direct the traffic I would have normally lost to an email form or offer them similar products on the same website (I've used this analogy before, but most people don't go to shoe stores to only purchase 1 very specific type of shoe).

Of course, this is my opinion and if you want to try direct linking first to find out if the product converts, that's fine.
