I was reading your blog post and you state to have 1,500-2,000 words on your homepage. I dont see how that is possible to have a clean homepage and that large of word count. Perhaps from SEO perspective would be ideal but from a user perspective find it ugly.

On your homepage you have 600 word count which it probably around norm. Do you have examples of sites with 1,500-2,000 word counts on their home page?

That is a good question. But bear in mind that 1500-2000 words is summarily speaking - it includes all of the text on the homepage. If you analyze the first page ranking results of a lot of SERPs, which we have, you will find that there is a distinct pattern with top ranking sites all having 1500 to 2000 words of content on their homepages. Obviously correlation does not imply causation, but with Google's favorable stance on content-rich sites it is not that surprising. Furthermore, having worked with thousands of sites during the years, we have found that content-rich sites, especially their homepage, tend to rank far easier than thinner sites.

Of course you are welcome to experiment and see what works for yourself. After all, experimenting and testing things is the cornerstone of SEO.

Regarding your question, do you mean you ordered a contextual links package from our Simple Solutions service or opted for the 2000 contextual links in tier 2 of the high PR service? If the latter, then these links will not point directly at your site but at your high PR links, thereby they will have no effect on your site's anchor profile.
