How Google looks on recipes content?

From reading many Pinterests journeys, I think you would be risking your Adsense accounts when using 100% scraped recipes. You might get away with it for a while, but in the long run, I don't think you are safe. Again, no personal experience.
If you are talking about getting SE traffic, then I think it's still hit and miss - not so long ago, I've had tons of sites with non-unique content and some did quite well, some didn't get much SE traffic.

i started with recipes niche since october 2013, i stopped a while than i back to work on it, all my traffic is 90% facebook + 10% pinterest , its hard to rank articles but you can use youtube, create a video with powerpoint or something,
you can lost your adsense account in anytime if you're making a good money with copy/past my friends lost a lot of accounts with this method but we're still fighting

Hmm, my traffic is 60% search engine and 40% social networks... why would I use my google acc? It is recipes, they are all the same and look same... they are on thousands of websites... ??? I think you didn't lost your account because you had recipe like 100 others...

no i think i didn't lost it because im playing softly lol , i have 3 accounts that i dont run them all in the same pc with same ip, i don't make more than 300 euro in each of them, my friends were making a good money thats why they lost their accounts

What about recipes from ebooks which are not on web?
Rewrite it , duplicate content is not good for adsense.
It's not really about duplicate content penalty as republishing another person's content without their express permission is considered copyright violation, even if you link back to the original. While there is no copyright on a specific set of ingredients, the written instructions need to be written in your own words. This should be enough to avoid potential copyright violations and duplicate content issues, if any could occur.

I am not sure how will it effect but you can always make small changes like cutting the onions 1st and mashing the potatoes later <-- This is just an example by making 3-4 changes every recipe you can make it somewhat unique. use unique images Mrbeatsontoast explained a really simple way of making a image unique (on his journey thread)

Don't affect the taste of your recipe, it will afffect the resort also.

Ive been wondering about the very same thing.
The particular recipes i will be using are like.......not changeable otherwise the recipe wouldn't work. So currently im just adding a bunch of other crap like facts about certain ingredients and the health benefits etc.
Anything to give them uniqueness. While not taking to much time.

At least in Sweden no one owns recipes, perhaps diffrent in other countries. But how would it work, i use the same recipe beside one ingridient, have i stolen your recipe or was it my own from the begining?
