Already read this some time ago, I'd say this method can be scaled up using for example an image to the item with the cloaked url written in the image, so users on craiglist can type the link in their user bar and go to ebay. I've seen a method like this here in BHW before with Amazon.

Yeah there's no reason why this won't work with other sites like pinterest. Just do the thing I suggested which is have like 20 to 30 minutes at least where you sit down and just brainstorm about different twists and ways to make the method work better for you. I do it every time I have a new idea and it never fails.

Too bad it doesn't work in my country (Portugal)... But I'll try to figure out some way to bypass that.
In Portugal there are some great classified websites, but eBay users are from other countries (UK for example).

I applied to the ebay partner network earlier today and literally received my invite only an hour or two ago! So I'm hoping that anyone who sees this and is worried about getting into EPN can rest a little easier, here's how I applied:

I had a random hobby niche wordpress website (hosted on my own relevant domain) filled with about 5 articles written by other people (I just copy and pasted them from ezine articles) and added some google images, along with an info graph I pulled from google images. So 5 articles all around 500-800 words and 1 info graph post. It didn't take me more than 15 minutes to set up.

For business information in the application I used my own full name in as the business name and tried to come across as a hobbyist with a website that I was responsibly trying to monetize in the business description, aka whitehat all the way.

After I submitted I didn't get any calls from them for those of you that were worried about that.

If any one has any questions about what else I might have done or how I'd be happy to answer! Frankly after reading this thread I was getting a little worried I might not be accepted so I'd love to help anyone who might have felt the same.

Oh I'll also be posting back with how this method works out for me while I give it a shot over the next month or so in case anyone else wants to see if this method is still relevant.

I got approved and it is only been a few hours now thats a big change from years past. Anyways make sure you have a website they can check out or something...Now to figure out how much they pay out and see how to bank .

Wow this is really fast, I got approved from ebay affilate program, already had amazon and posted a couple ads one in a facebook group and one on CL and already people are responding. I`m going to wait til later tonight to reply but had one question. Should i just copy and paste the link to a xbox on ebay or amazon and send that to people or should i hide my affilate link some how ?

Well i emailed people back but used amazon and got 11 clicks but no sales.....I think it would be better if the cookies would last longer than 24hrs like amazon and ebay do , anyone know of any other companies that have the longer cookies that we can send people too?

It's better to make a landing page to your amazon product, send the link of landing page and tell people they can pay the item though amazon shopping cart and maybe people should trust your product.

Hey glad to see your approved. Your absolutely right, its always best to be as safe as possible. So you'd never want to direct link your amazon product into your email. And also I believe email is against their TOS unless the person is requesting that information from you already by email. But still never direct link when you don't have to and just use a website as the go between or an amazon astore. Definitely please post back with your results and anything else that might be useful to others here. Thanks.

I applied to ePN today morning and received a confirmation of approval within like 10-15 minutes. Nothing magical. Just think from the position of ePN: who would you as ePN want to see as your affiliate - a guy with a personal website (as an example) or a guy who is about to spam classifieds with his ref link.

Also, check the ToS of ePN. To drive email traffic you are supposed to get written permission from ePN for that. I'm just saying that it's not 100% safe, although I have no idea what are the chances to get caught.

They also have some rules about redirecting and cloaking. So read the ToS and take care guys!

I'm gonna try this method and see how it goes.
