You want to have someway of redirecting the traffic and a blog or website can be a good way to do that.

Hell yes, I'll try it and see what happens. I have an idea or two that might help me make something of it. Obviously a bit "blackhat" since this method obviously must violate ToS, but I'm willing to guess that they don't have any sort of way to know where the link came from.
