3rd Ebay stealth account zero selling limit!!

I had the same problem too. I created 1 stealth during summer and it was fine. Then I plan to create one more just for back up. I ended up creating 2 stealths with 0 selling limits.
I use the same machine for all accounts, but i always change the IP for different accounts.
I also clean the history, cache and LSO everytime I go to ebay or PayPal.
My PayPal is verified (I use VanillaVisa GC and BOA bank account).
I use google voice for the phone numbers.
As for the address, I randomly select any real address (sometimes this will get me restricted too unless I call them and they asks me a few identity questions, which of course a bad idea) >> any other better way to select address for a stealth account?

So, I really don't know where it went wrong. Is it the google voice or the physical address or the IP?
I googled about this problem a few times and found out different answers. Some said ebay now ban a range of IPs, some said ebay can detect google voice phone number.

Desperately need help!!!!

Next time ready what service are you using for. Info.

When setting up which numbers you want calls to your Google number to be forwarded to, you'll need to select the types of phones you're associating with Google Voice.
This is phone forwarding service = triggering the 0/0. So simple to understand.

SpeedOfPain: Regular physical SIM card.

I use google voice. But still getting 0/0 selling limit.

Dude, google voice does not work well anymore for avoiding 0/0. You need to link to a physical phone based in the area code that matches your registration info.

Some issues I see here

1. eBay doesn't like it if there are no flash cookies every time you log in. That's not normal behavior for a typical eBay user.

2. google voice does not work for avoiding 0/0. The only sure way to make this not a problem is to use a physical phone with # that matches the area code of registration info

3. if you pick a random address you will not be matching any public information for that address.

1. I thought cleaning cookies everytime is a good way. (ccleaner). So ebay can't detect if the account is linked with others. Unless you mean to use different station for each account.
2. I'll try buying prepaid to replace google voice
3. If I don't pick random valid address and I can't use P.O.Box, what address can I use so that not to trigger any suspicion from eBay?

NA people are interesting for me, no such "P.O. Boxes" in many European countries (incl. mine, incl. Asia maybe. How people survive without PO and still maintain Stealth?

CCleaner btw don't delete the flash cookies.

1. The reason you delete flash cookies is because you don't want any leftover stuff from any other account. eBay doesn't want to see you coming in with completely empty flash cookies every time you log in, because that means you're either logging in from a new windows installation/user every time (suspicious) or you're wiping them out every time you log in (even more suspicious)

2. Good

3. There really is nothing you can do about it. And I think eventually ebay/paypal separation means that you are going to have to provide a valid SS# photo ID right when you create an account with either. That's why it's super important to have some live accounts in your back pocket.

I think eventually if you want to run US accts outside US you are going to have to use a mail forwarding service or a service that receives mail for you and signs for delivery services.

But why would I use a mail forwarding service or a service that receives mail for me, except if I receive some high return-rate and really important & expensive goods. Otherwise I don't see any key point.

Because sooner or later ebay will mandate that you have a live address to receive returns and you will have to receive and log in a mailed verification code to validate accounts, and you will run the risk that some do gooder will report to ebay that she tried to return her $2.95 purchase and it was returned because there's no such person at that address, which will result in your account getting shut down. We are eventually heading down that road.

Return Process:

Resolving problems > You don't want the item returned to you:

After we notify you that a buyer has started a return, you can contact the buyer through Messages in My eBay (to keep a record of the conversation) and ask them not to send back the item. Keep in mind that we ask buyers to ship back an item within 5 business days after starting a return, so contact your buyer quickly. We discourage haggling or trying to dissuade buyers from returning an item. We recommend that you only contact buyers if you feel that you can resolve the problem in another way. Examples of when you may not want an item returned to you:
- If an item has a low price or is damaged beyond repair, you may decide to just issue a refund.
- If a problem is due to operating error and you feel you can adequately troubleshoot the issue and avoid a return.

You can also set up seller automation rules in My eBay, to handle this type of situation automatically. Go to My eBay > Account > Site preferences and scroll down to Return preferences.
I would rather don't accept such returns, even for items that costs $50 because I won't need 'em anymore + won't risk the eB/PP acc getting shut downed, those will be in column "losses".

Yes, that works for now, but I'm thinking about 5 years in the future. They're not going to give you the option of not having a working address. Even if you don't take returns they're going to make you have a live address and a working phone number.

Working phone number is not a big issue (for me, for 90% of the subforum here - seems it IS, lol), costs me €6 the SIM, the cheapest phones around €12-€25, but generally it's needed only for the SMS verification for 1st listing, and when CS phones you.

Live address would be a problem as you're saying. But then when I've read that story (few hours ago), I would rather provide someone's else live address where to be returned the item - he'll think that it's some kind of unsolicited gift or sth. eB will be happy - returned successfully, customer will be happy (refunded), I'll be half-happy, some 3rd party unknown person will be happy as well.

I wonder if the addresses are flagging my stealth accounts too. I also pick random address offline. They're real addresses though. I've called in a couple times and tried my luck after a zero limit.Of course couldn't verify public records.Once there were no records at all for the address, not for anyone. Don't know how that happened. Once I got a 100 item selling limit but the 2 other times they said I had to fax in docs.

I've always done my stealth's same way but somethings changed lately.

If you get a rep. from overseas you have a good chance off getting a limit when You call in.

You always want to talk to a US based rep because you can talk yourself out of problems with them but with Philippines based reps they just go by the script so if there are any problems you will get banned.

Most calls are routed to the Philippines. You can spot a Phil Rep quite easily by the accent.

The account ( ebay, that is ) is served by e-performax. They hire and fire frequently and most of the rep's aren't trained well.

A few tips when talking to a Phil rep:

They have a time limit for any call - 6 minutes. So try to get to the point and use easy to understand words. Don't make things complicated and confusing.

A call that exceeds 6 minutes will be recorded on the reps performance sheet. To many of those and bye bye.

Never ask for a supervisor - most likely the rep will hang up on you. Those are a big no no.
If a rep needs to transfer the call to a supervisor - team leader or shift leader - 3 x in a month - bye bye.

Be polite and pleasant. Pretend you think the rep is in the States. Ask if he / she is not missing the food from back home. All Filipinos like their adobo and pancit or simple Jollibees fast food.

Remember the 6 minutes time limit. Have a stop watch to monitor.

A rep makes about 300 bucks a month for 10 hour nightshifts 5 x a week. And he /she got the power at his / her fingertips. Not much of it but enough to raise your limits or getting an account started. Or banned. Whats gonna happen is pretty much up to how YOU perform on the phone.

I hang out quite a bit with some of them. Most are cool young people that use e-performax as their jumping point for a call center career since they have the lowest hire requirements in the industry. If you speak english halfway decent, you are hired.

So just imagine that a rep needs to fill a 80 call per shift quota. 70 of them are bitching, "no it is not like that " "i did not do that", "you do not understand ", "i wanna talk to your supervisor " and so forth calls.

How hard can it be to make a different impression ?

My first ever stealth acct (made even before I knew what stealth was) was killed by one of these lowly reps making $300/month. It was from 2007 and had no limits and at one point I had over $2mil in items listed. Excuse me, I think I need to have a good cry now.
