Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing well.
Now, I don't feel the need to start many threads, most information I need has already been posted. However, today has slapped me in the face with something that I just cannot shake. Or fix, for that matter. I've come to the lounge because my situation is a bit too complicated to just fall under one section. However, before I get into things, I'd like to make a request: If you're just going to make a twunt of yourself, refrain from commenting. I've shown a lot of respect around here since I've become a member, so I'm asking for a bit of that back today. That's directed towards just SOME of you, by far not all. Thank you.

I started my first website in August, and after playing the trial and error game with numerous networks and methods, I was finally approved for Adsense about three weeks ago. Which was huge for me. Not only because it they are the best known and highest paying, but because it made me feel like I have a worthy site and allowed me to write freely instead of pitching a product in each article. Maybe it was because they declined my application a dozen times or because Adsense is what all the 'cool kids use', but I felt like my site was finally good enough. Petty, I know, but it did give me a much needed boost of confidence.
However today, I was slapped in the face with a disabled account due to invalid activity, which I think we're all aware of and please, hold any assumptions. At 7:30 am today, I had made around $20. Then at about 9 am, I couldn't access my account anymore. My problem here though, is that I haven't clicked my own ads once, nor have I 'encouraged' any clicks or impressions from others. I've been promoting my writing just as I always have. My own social media accounts, aggregators, and word of mouth, nothing else. The worst I've done with this site is buy around 100 sh*tty crork backlinks when I was starting out. But that wouldn't justify an account being disabled when the links were created before the account was even approved.
So after doing as much investigating as I know to do, the only oddity that I can find is in my traffic, yet it still doesn't quite satisfy this disgruntled mind. My site, being based primarily around my local business and freelance services, doesn't get a whole lot of people that need to use crappy proxy services to access it. However last night and this morning, I received a few hundred visits from people using various proxies. In fact, the referrer even shows which services they used. All free, all European (my business is in the u.s.), and none of which hid the fact that it was a proxy. I'm really not too sure how to interpret this though. In the five or so months that my site has been in existence, only twenty or so visits have been from proxies like this. So why all of the sudden? And could that be why my account was shut down? I just can't find any other variables that are out of place. Since I can't access Adsense, I can't even tell if the bastards clicked anything. All I know, is that when you see hundreds of people coming from a proxies, it looks paid for. And believe me or not, I do not need to pay for my traffic. My writing takes care of that for me.
Either way, I've lost $400 bucks and three weeks of my ad space, to Adsense. All in one morning. I filled out my appeal form, but I don't really have any hope for that. From what I've read, in a case like this, they simply won't work with me. So, needless to say, I'm f*cking frustrated. But hey, I've heard similar stories and how others have moved on, so I will do the same. Even if it kills me.

So guys and gals, here are my quandaries:
Any help or advice would be much appreciated. You all are simply the best around. Black, white, gray, khaki, whatever. I couldn't have done any of this without you. So thanks everyone. I'll be back on in the morning to see your replies.
Sincerely yours,
Dadangle

So guys and gals, here are my quandaries:
- Do you think I have any hope of appealing my disabled account?
- Is there any way to look further into what happened?
- Will a disabled Adsense account have any effect on my rankings? Do they hold a grudge?
- Should I return to Shareasale and Cj or find another PPC network?
- Which PPC's are comparable to Adsense? Pay and quality of ads. No chitika bs, and I'm not paying anyone to promote their products.
- Lastly, does my avatar make me look fat..? (as I force an unwilling smile onto my face)
Any help or advice would be much appreciated. You all are simply the best around. Black, white, gray, khaki, whatever. I couldn't have done any of this without you. So thanks everyone. I'll be back on in the morning to see your replies.
