Review:
I ordered the Lightning Bolt package from this seller and I'm going to post my review. This site is supposed to be used for Amazon Affiliate marketing. I'm going to try and break it up into sections and review each section rather than write a general overall review.
Keep in mind all of these are based on a 1-10 scale
The site: 7
I gave this a 7 because while it is fairly appealing to the eyes it seems to lack any kind of central focus. The site is very picture heavy and with all the pictures immediately on the homepage it seems like it can be very confusing. Other then that, it looks like it was built rather well.
The Content: 6
While I haven't read every article on every page of the site I did take a look around at some of the articles that I thought would be my focus for this niche. These articles are spun (I didn't expect them not to be at the price I paid) and some of the articles even appear to transition to an entirely new thought without transitioning to a new paragraph. The word count that was promised is there and a lot of the topics are covered. I gave the OP the niche and left some of the keyword decisions up to him, but I can't say whether or not this was done right because I never got a list of targeted keywords (more about this later).
None of my articles are spun. I would be out of business by now if they were. BHW is not WF. As for the quality, there are numerous examples of working with the customers if the articles did not meet the desired quality. I really believe some of them even would vouch for me on this, if asked to.
Timeliness: 0
I ordered this site from the seller on October 13th. When speaking with the seller via skype I asked about the TAT. It was listed at 30 days on this thread, I assume due to order volume, so I wanted to clarify. He assured me "15-20 days max" and I was ok with that and would have even been ok with the 30 days. On 11/6 I hadn't heard from the seller and posted a partial review in his thread attempting to get his attention. Seller contacted me on 11/7 telling me that "there's been a mishap" without any other explanation and told me it would be 8 more days. Finally on 11/16 seller delivered dropbox with the content.
Yes, I had told him to expect the delivery in 15-20 days and I failed to do so. I had delivered the site itself within the deadline and all the other deliverable materials on November 16 (October 13 - November 16, 3 days over the deadline), just like he mentioned. About the "mishap" message, I just did not want to bore him with the details. I also thought any further explanation would be futile because the end result would not change. So I figured I had better get my head down and do the work as quickly as possible.
Helpfulness: 4
I struggle with even giving a rating this high in this category. The seller was more than helpful prior to my order and that has slowly gone down hill and now even to no contact. I have tried to contact the seller about keywords targeted and an SEO plan that was discussed immediately after the sale. I have still not been able to get in contact with the seller regarding these things. Pretty much this means a lot of work for me sifting through all articles seeking out keywords and possibly even scrapping a lot of content.
Well, in all fairness, skype is not the only method of communication. Email and BHW thread are too. More about this at the bottom of this post.
Youtube Video: 6
Decent video made by what looks to be something off of Fiverr. Creator stumbles on her words a couple times during the video. Doesn't really matter to me right now, I'll leave it out there and if it helps some awesome and if not, whatever.
If we try to make the videos better, it would cost a lot more and that really would not be any good for the profit we make from this service
Social accounts: 4
This should be an easy 10 except the seller did not provide all the accounts as promised in the ad. Not a huge deal but still. Seller created a facebook, youtube, and pinterest. Seller missed Twitter account and still, to this day, I don't have control of the facebook account. Another issue of seller not communicating.
The issue about the twitter is clearly mentioned on the order page. I think he just didn't notice the message. An honest mistake, I believe. As for the fb page, I didn't notice his friend request in time to be able to deliver him the page.
This is my general perspective on this service. Hopefully this will be helpful to people looking to purchase this service.
I just needed to clear the things up for anyone else who might be reading this thread in future.
I also feel a little hard done by by the spun article comment. Giving you quality articles are one of the most important features of this service.
We had a chat with him shortly after posting this review. He feels disappointed that the communication between us was not exactly what we would call ideal. I explained to him that I check Skype every couple of days and hence I missed some of the messages. However, I get an instant notification when I receive and email or whenever there's a post on this thread.
I did not mean to start an argument.
At the end of the day, we have an unsatisfied customer (whatever the reason may be). I apologized to him on Skype for this and I am doing so now on this thread. Having said that, I thought this review could have been a little less harsh, specially regarding the quality of the articles.
I give out samples to whomever asks.
We are prepared to work with you if you don't feel the quality of the articles on the site we deliver is not of the same quality as the articles you see in the samples.
Have a good day.
