Was making backlinks manually, but my post got removed from search engine. Why?

Hey

I was trying manually making backlinks to one of my post of my website (ex. www,mysite,com/link-to-my-post/)

and before I started making the backlinks, that posts's SERP was at #Page 5 (Google)

But after around 30 minutes I made around 4-5 links only (with different anchor text)

The link of that post got removed from even 10 Pages of Google (for the same keyword it was at #5 page before), and I don't know now that it even exist on Google or not.

It doesn't matter if you do link building manually or using a software. Quality of the sites where the links built are more important. If google has any problems with the site on which you create backlinks, those backlinks will have negative effect on the ranking.
- Further, if its good quality website and link is good with good quality content, then it might be a google dance, and your website might recover its ranking in coming days or weeks.
- I dont think 1 link can affect your websites ranking much in positive or negative way, unless the site is extermely high quality, or extremely poor quality.
- So just wait for few days to see the movements. Try tracking the ranking everyday.

Try removing those links and see if your webpage returns. Sometimes, certain updates coincide with your linkbuilding and hence you may never know whether it was your linkbuilding that kicked you off.

Today after 3 days of making those backlinks, my site started appearing again for the same keyword but this time on #Page 6.

It doesn't improved my ranking, and links were posted one 2-3 good website I think, example, yahoo, other forums etc.

What should I do if I want that post on #PG1 in serp.

I don't want to buy SEO from fiverr and all as I did that last year and it only works for sometimes and then it start giving negative impacts on search engine.

Don't worry about it. When new backlinks appears on Google the ranking flactuate for some time and come back to the postion again. I have personally experienced it.

I think it will be solved within next 2-3 weeks.

But I will suggest you to build backlinks from good quality sites. And do it in a natural way. Means don't target same anchor text over and over. Diverse the anchor text variation. It will get you best results.

As I already mentioned above that it got back in the Google search but this time, its ranked at #P6 for the same keyword it was for #P5.

So by making the backlinks, I actually didn't got the good results. Trust me, I am trying it for the first time and I want to learn it better & more.

Can you please help me further to increase the rankings?

Lipitive, you need to learn that often Google rankings don't make any sense. Sometimes spammy sites ranks #1 and some other high quality #30. The only thing you can do is to build more quality links and create a lot of quality content. Your site won't rank in 1 day or 1 week. Sometimes it will take more than 6 months to rank in the top 10 for a keyword. Anchor diversification is very important these days, you need to make it look natural. Good luck!

Currently I will suggest you to stop doing more links targeting the keyword or webpage. Just moniter the ranking for another 7-10 days that hows it going. Once you get a stable position you can further continue with backlinks.

It sounds like it's probably just the Google dance. The backlinks you have built so far obviously haven't made a big difference. In order to move up the rankings you are going to have to build more links.

Your page is dancing around in the SERPs as new links and data is crawled. There's most likely nothing wrong with your links or your rankings or anything. Just leave it alone for a week or two and the resting position is your final rank for that page for those keywords.

Rankings are dynamic... shit changes all the time. New pages start ranking, new links start to effect existing pages. If your page drops dramatically and never returns to anywhere close to its original position, you have problems.. if its fluctuating around the same page or two, it's all good. Want to rank higher? Build more links... that's still how google ranks pages. Despite all the Penguins and Pandas, and bla bla bla, links rank, just be smart in how you apply them.

Bro, I was not lying mate. It actually disappeared within 30 minutes of time and came back after 2 days of time. And lost 1 page of ranking. Still seeking for help on how I can get that keyword rank better than its present positions.
